Located in Milwaukee, this charming house for $517 per night is a great option for your next break. A maze of rooms and hidden corners. When you think you’ve seen it all… there’s another place to visit. Chill out on the deck in the fully fenced in and private backyard or on the upstairs patio, take a run on the treadmill or box in the fully finished attic, record some music or work on your next screen play in the office / sunroom. We have a corn hole set in the backyard. When you run out of things to do, go for a walk and discover Bay View! Please feel free to contact us regarding your upcoming booking and fees. This is an incredible house, especially for large groups. We were in town for my daughter’s wedding and this house became our homebase. There was plenty of space for everyone. The house never felt crowded. The yard an outdoor space was just perfect and we made great use of the hot tub. Scott was an incredible communicator and made us feel so welcome staying in their home. The location is close to everything you could possibly need. We were at max 13 minutes away from everywhere we wanted to be I highly recommend this as great place to stay!!

Our group of 9 had a great stay at Howell House. Our hosts were very accommodating and thoughtful. The house is huge, so plenty of space for everyone. We really appreciated having use of the two stall garage, washer and dryer, and back yard. We would stay again!

If you like fun and quirky you will love this house. If you love quirky you will want to buy this house. Had a just wonderful stay with my family for a long weekend visiting my niece. It's hard to describe the house - fun, quirky, comfortable... lots to explore and discover. Really great communication. Everyone in my family loved it.

This house just made me happy. All the hidden spaces made it feel like a something out of a book. I don’t know if that’s helpful to anyone but there you go anyway. We all kept commenting about how cool the house was. The owners were great and seemed friendly in all of our communications.

The house was great. We hung out both inside and outside of the house in the yard and the spaces were great for us. We were up in Milwaukee for a bachelor party and there were plenty of bedrooms, a nice yard outside for a fire, and space to sit inside and just chill. Obviously Milwaukee has lots of great drinking options with breweries, but the food in town and even in the Bay View neighborhood was delicious as well. I would be happy to stay at this house again. The host was good with communication and helpful with suggestions of where to go as well.

Our family stay at this large 3 story house was wonderful! Very unique vintage home with stairways to hideaways! Nice big fenced back yard to cookout and enjoy our family. We had so much room even with our large group of 11! Beautiful remodeled modern bathrooms and large dining area and nicely appointed kitchen kept us from feeling cramped! Especially loved being able to pull in to the garage for another level of security. Our celebration had us enjoying the downtown MKE area and we felt very close to everything including a beautiful park just up the street!! Scott and Carrie accommodated an earlier than expected arrival which helped out immensely. I would truly recommend this wonderful home for any large gathering 🥰

Fun place and unique layout with plenty of outdoor space. Host was great with communication. Well stocked home. Some cool decor, some older decor in the house. Had a group of 12 and worked out great.

We had a wonderful time. Scott was the best person to work with. House had so much room for our bachelorette party. The backyard was perfect for everyone to enjoy the weather. Plenty of space and beds for all of the girls! We will be back. Highly Recommend!! 5 minutes from downtown and can walk to many food spots nearby!

I booked this house for a weekend getaway with a group of friends. It was a great space for a large group. The host was so easy to communicate with and very responsive. The house had a great communal hangout space on the first floor. Would definitely come back!

Great experience. Two minor shortcomings were that the lighting in the dining area could be brighter and if one plans to do a lot of cooking, there are not a lot of kitchen appliances (such as a blender, food processor, etc.). That being said there are a lot of great places to dine or take/out nearby. I would highly recommend this place. The owners were great and very helpful.

Hosts were very accommodating. House was perfect for our needs, but needs some work. Amenities were a bit skimpy; i.e., could have had better lighting for bedroom reading, Kleenex, and kitchen supplies.(2 qt pitcher, regular coffee maker...Keurig supplies were not sufficient). However....our family had a great time...close to the beach, bike rentals, etc. Thank you!

This house was PERFECT for our group of girls. We came for a bachelorette party and all of us felt so comfortable in the house. We all felt right at home with how cozy it was. Scott made everything so simple as well. Any questions I had- he answered extremely quick and was helpful with recommendations of places to go in the area. There’s plenty of space in the house where you don’t need to feel like you’re on top of each other. If I ever go back to this area, I will 100% be staying here again.

Had a great experience at the Howell house! There is a ton of activities and amenities for big groups of people. Absolutely beautiful bathrooms. The house is a bit older so the only thing with that is that some rooms are very warm while others are cold. But plenty of blankets and fans to cover that. If you are going to use the hot tub I would suggest bringing your own beach towels so you don’t use all the bathroom ones right away. Over all great stay and would definitely come back!!

We picked this location because it was in the same general location as my husband’s sister. The house is exactly what we are looking for. Plenty of space so we didn’t have to try to sleep in a hotel room with three kids. The house is very well-maintained and full of character. The property owner was very responsive and easy to work with. We’ll definitely be going back.
