The apartment is located in a nice location to drive into Saugatuck or Holland or walk to the Douglas shops. We also hiked 2 different trails that were close by. (Drove to them) We walked into a clean space, which honestly is my main concern. I had read the reviews so knew the bed was low but comfortable, and the TV only gets local channels. Wifii works great so we watched things on our phones. We mainly slept here so it provided exactly what we needed. This place isn’t fancy but is clean, with a comfortable bed, and a place to shower. That’s all we needed and would stay again. Our only complaint was the apartment smelled like marijuana (probably from previous people who stayed so not the owners fault)

Our host was most helpful and responsive! Unit was accurately described, clean & comfortable. Met all our needs and exceeded our expectations. Safe, vibrant area. Short walk (5 min.) to downtown Douglas with great restaurants, coffee shop, art galleries, cocktails & shopping. 8 minute drive (you could easily walk) to busier, touristy Saugatuck. Enjoyed visiting there tremendously but were always glad to return to Douglas at the end of the day, Close to Lake Michigan beaches/dunes, breweries, antique malls, breakfast spots & so much more. Will return and use it as a jumping point to other places in Michigan we want to explore (e.g. Traverse City). Highly recommended.

The condo was exactly as I expected and how it was presented online. The kitchen, though not used for a lot of cooking, was well stocked with essentials and efficient. My contacts with Greg Horvath the owner, were very friendly and informative! The bed was comfortable however very low to the floor which made it difficult for me to get up from since recovering from a back injury, plus my 66 yr old body. But I managed.

Overall pleased. Updated space. Clean. Walking distances to food, bars and shops. Bed too short on ground for us taller people Not that we had time to watch TV but the Xfinity service only had 4 channels we could view. If you are in unit 3 you get noise from people in the pool when sitting outside. You are expected to strip bed and start a load of laundry. Take out trash(which I just realized I left, sorry). For food nearby we recommend The Southerner and stay away from Christos.

This is a very cute little place for a couple people to get away from it all. It's a very short walk (less than 5 minutes) into Douglas, and only about 20 minutes to get to downtown Saugatuck. Parking is hard to come by in both these places, so the location is a real plus! Do note that if you're looking to relax on the deck, it does directly overlook another property's pool area, so not very private and can be a bit awkward. The property is very well maintained and clean, and everything is there! Owners were great to communicate with. Overall a very nice place to stay!

This property was perfect for our vacation weekend. The condo was very clean and quiet. Nice seating area on the deck. Plenty of parking. Check in and out was easy. It is within walking distance of shops and restaurants in Douglas. Short drive over to Saugatauk. I would highly recommend this place!

This was my first VRBO rental and Greg was beyond helpful. He reached out and explained everything to me as well as sent me all of the information in an email. He made sure that we knew if there was anything we needed (we didn't) that he was available. The condo is in a great location. It is within walking distance to the downtown shops and restaurants. There was also a nice view of the water from the deck, which had a table and chairs. The condo was clean and organized and came with everything needed. I would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Greg was a fantastic host - communicated early and efficiently, and made sure we knew he was available for any questions or concerns that we had (we didn't have any!). The stay was perfect for my boyfriend and I, with all of the amenities we needed: washer/dryer, stove and oven, TV, etc., and was perfectly located with quick access to downtown Douglas and Saugatuck. We were running late during our checkout (I got sick from dinner the night before), and Greg was very understanding. I would highly recommend this stay and will definitely rebook on our next trip back to Douglas and Saugatuck!

If you are looking for quaint accommodations in Douglas MI this is your place! Good for a small group or couple (bedroom and comfortable pull out sofa) you can walk to Douglas in about 5 minutes or over the bridge to Saugatuck in 20 minutes. Beautiful kitchen and every comfort of home.

First of all the kitchen was absolutely beautiful. Professional gas range was a delight to cook on. This location is fantastic; walking distance to downtown Douglas in 2 min, 5min drive to Oval beach, and 3min drive to downtown Saugatuck. Will definitely be coming back next year.

I was in town for a wedding and looking for a quiet place to stay with easy access to Douglas and Saugatuck - the condo was perfect!! I had a little trouble getting the door unlocked, the host was very gracious and came right away to help me out. I would definitely stay again, hopefully next time for more than just a weekend!!

Overall, the property was adequate for our stay. The neighborhood was quant and was close to shops and Lake Michigan. The property was very dirty and needs a deep cleaning. Dried contacts were found on the nightstand and there was grim/dust everywhere. When a hefty cleaning fee is charged you would expect the unit to be very clean.

Clean, accurate listing, comfortable and excellent communication with owner. We loved the outdoor patio where we ate breakfast each morning. Downtown Douglas is one of our favorites and it’s only a few min walk. It was pet friendly and having our dog with us was great. We definitely recommend and will be back!

This is a very nice unit! Recently remodeled and located in a lovely neighborhood. Great location with easy access. Has everything ready for a comfortable stay. We loved that it was so close to downtown. We would be happy to select this same property for a future getaway to the Art Coast of Michigan.

We had three and that was the perfect amount for this unit. It was nice and quiet. We liked that it allowed pets. Our favorite thing was walking by the water and through town every day. Saugatuck is a quick car ride across the bridge. Beautiful area.
