Appreciated the off street parking, nice small yard for pets, plenty of room for our two dogs and their crates inside, was clean and practical for our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the residence. it was so clean with plenty of towels and linen. Who could resist a vibrating chair and light up warming toilet seat!!!!!. Our only problem was the location, we would get mixed up on the fork in the roads and had to use our GPS. Probably us and our old age.

One word to describe this stay…wow. My spouse and I stayed the weekend but definitely will stay here again. The bed was comfortable, the place was clean and cute and the attention to detail was on point. I have been traveling for several years and this is the only place I would recommend to family and friends.

Carol was a great host and her space was perfect for us. My fiancé and I were traveling through Amarillo with our dog and stayed for one night. Comfortable place with plenty of space for us and Sarge (German shepherd). The outdoor space is great for a dog. Comfortable bed and good amenities.

We chose to stay here instead of a hotel during our trip to Amarillo and we’re glad we did. Everything in the house was nice, comfortable and the host was very helpful. We had a small problem with the main house guests, beyond the hosts control, but she was great at responding and got it fixed anyway! It’s a nice hidden place!

Had a wonderful stay, all around. Super private, and so much more. So much perfect, here. Excellent hosts. I could go on and on. Traveling alone, multi-state, for a memorial service. We stayed at the trail house on our way to Santa Fe NM and again on our way back home to St. Louis. Really nice place, very well appointed. She really put a lot of thought into it and anticipates her guests needs. The house was nice and comfy/cozy. I liked how she separated the kitchen from the main room. The bathroom was really cool, had a heated/lighted toilet, the shower was hot and didn't have to wait for hot water. She had really nice shampoo/conditioner/body wash and lavender moisturizer. The bed was comfy and the yard was real nice. My dog loved the yard and on our way back just wanted to hang out there. Sitting area outside, room for the pup to run around and quiet. It was a nice quiet neighborhood. The owner is very nice and responsive. I would highly recommend and would stay there again.

We arrived exhausted and instantly felt at home! Everything one could ask for was thoughtfully provided! Ladies, there’s a great magnifying makeup mirror and a heated toilet seat. The kitchen is complete with everything necessary! Now my English Bulldog loved the yard! I did too because it was safely enclosed so I didn’t have to watch him every minute! Everything was spotless making this the very best place to stay!

Great place for us to stay the night on our road trip. Clean, cozy and private. Nicely stocked with drinks, snacks and even travel gift bags with toothbrush, deoderant just to name a couple. Would highly recommend this place. Thank you Carol!

Our sweet golden retriever loved being able to stretch out and run around after driving for 6 hours! And we enjoyed the cottage, which was decorated adorably and filled with thoughtful touches. Highly recommend!

I was so incredibly pleased with this rental! It was absolutely perfect for me and my dog to stay over the holidays. After an 8-hour drive and subfreezing temperatures, the check-in process was a breeze, and imagine how surprised I was to find the toilet seat was heated (it's truly the little things, y'all)! The back house is completely separate from the main house, including its own fenced-in yard. I was visiting my parents, so I didn't use the kitchen much but it seemed well-stocked and had everything you'd need if you wanted to cook. The bed and linens were super cozy and comfortable. Carol really put a lot of thought into providing a welcoming home to a weary traveler and her pup. I'm confident I'll be renting again in the future!
