Richard was such a wonderful and helpful host! He made our stay at the bungalow very special and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. He even arranged a tuk-tuk rental for us and gave us some fantastic restaurant recommendations.
The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the perfect way to start the day. The bungalow was lovely, and Richard’s warm hospitality made us feel very welcome. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay!

Everything, especially our host. He felt like family during our 1 week stay there.We wished we planned to stay longer. We're definitely coming back!
He's a native English speaker and helped us with ALL the local surf points. Steered us away from Arugam Bay. It's too busy and it's a reef break. Even if you do catch a wave, you have to be careful to not get cut after the ride.
This is THE PRIME location. Less than 30 minutes away from 5 different surf points, all with different types of breaks and power and both left and right hand breaks.
Pottuvil Point is less than 5 minutes away by tuktuk and has 2 different points. Both left hand breaks and very consistent. Baby point is typically around 1 meter and has a very soft beach break and u can walk back out to the surf. Very good for learning the fundamentals.
I don't want to give away too much, you will have to learn about the other hidden spots from the host 😉
They have very powerful AC!
The cabana was super clean and spacious. We really liked the outdoor porch they have at each one. It's very nice to settle down after a long days surf.
The night sky here is so clear. There is no light pollution and on non cloudy nights (which was all during our stay) u can clearly see all the constellations and planets.
If it's not too busy, take the host out to town, he was also our unofficial guide and showed us the good local eats and how to pick the best fruits!
There is a very cute family of cats there and the calico is the must cuddly one. Please feed and pet them if you can 🥹
