Tolle Lage, Super nettes Personal. Schönes Zimmer. Gut ausgestattet.
Strandnähe mit kleinen Beachbars um abends tolle Sonnenuntergänge zu erleben und/oder sich tagsüber auch einfach nur zu Sonnen.
Super leckeres typisch Sri lankisches Frühstück und wirklich sättigend.
Netterweise gab uns Vimu (der Sohn der Familie und unserem Ansprechpartner) Mückenringe zum anzünden für den Balkon.
Auch Wasser kannst du in der Unterkunft kaufen, was wirklich praktisch ist.
Leider hatten wir auf unserem Mückennetz einiges an Staub liegen.
Und der Schrank (der sehr selten ist in Sri Lanka) bräuchte einen neues Platz, denn so war er leider nicht gut zugänglich.

Can’t fault this lovely guest house. Really lovely people. Good breakfast and a minutes walk to the beach. Very clean and good value for money. Quieter than some of the other guest houses but loved it for that. Coconut beach is a little gem - our favourite beach so far. Very local relaxed vibe. No hype no fuss just old school Sri Lanka. Incredible sunsets.
Nothing - the owners have plans to add a coffee bar for barista coffee - it will only enhance it!

This building was beautifully kept, spotlessly clean and located down a quiet side road 2 minutes from coconut beach. The bed was large and comfortable with clean, fresh linen. It felt very safe and the owner was incredibly kind. The breakfast was delicious too.
The only thing that could be improved of was the fan situation. The room had no A/C and the fan was not strong enough to get air flow through the mosquito net. It was seriously hot at night, we slept with the door open but it didn’t help. I would suggest the owners either install A/C or purchase a second fan.

The setting was nice up the end of a quiet narrow lane, set one row back from the beach. Enough choice of local cafe/restaurants close to the property.
If arriving straight from airport by taxi don’t try and get the taxi car to take you all the way up there as limited turning space.
