Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. Peaceful location with amazing views of the balloons taking off in the morning. Gardens, outdoor bar and swimming pool were a welcome place to relax after a day's walking. Fabulous breakfast!

Beautiful property with fantastic views of the morning balloon take offs. Staff were pleasant and helpful and rooms were spacious.
Being just outside the centre of Goreme meant it had a good amount of outdoor space.
The hotel offered a good buffet breakfast and an all-day bar.
One person in our party was woken by local barking dogs and the noise of the balloons firing up early in the morning. Not a problem for three out of four of us.

-the hotel and its surroundings are beautiful, and the view of the room is wonderful
-we especially liked the interior of our rooms
-it's not in the city centre, so you can enjoy the peace and quiet (but no shops or restaurants nearby)
-the pool area
-the hotel's own restaurant is quite good
-the staff at the reception...they try to help with tours, but they mistake and confuse everything....you need to have written proof of what and what price were said for tours -you can use WhatsApp with them- because they don't remember correctly...one tour became 100 Euros more when we arrived compared to what we booked with them previously, when I showed the messaging about the tour they agreed on the cheaper- original- price. It really seems that a bunch of incompetent people were trying to run the hotel..
-another thing: as our plane departed late in the afternoon we tried to ask for late checkout the previous night. The receptionist called ONUR stated that for next day late checkout was impossible because they have full house. Of course we checked the available rooms on Booking.com and on the hotel's own website as well, there were plenty of free rooms for next day, obviously they weren't at all fully booked...When we asked the morning receptionist about late checkout on the day of our leaving, the guy said that of course they have free rooms so late checkout is possible for both our rooms...We really didn't understand why Onur didn't want to give us late checkout, especially for that we were with children...We think Onur simply didn't like us.
Because of the reception staff we have mixed feelings for the hotel, because the surroundings and the hotel itself are excellent, but the people at the reception really ruin the experience :(
-wifi not always working
-the breakfast is not European style, be prepared for this (I think it is quite common in Turkey)
