About this house rental
Located in Helen, this lovely house for $483 per night is a great option for your next trip. The house is located inside beautiful Innsbruck resort including outdoor community swimming pool, golf court (fee will apply, please check with the office, right behind the Vanessa hotel) (Swimming pool is available from Memorial Day to Labor Day) The size of each bedroom is large as master bedroom. Each bedroom has its own bathroom (double sink). The back has 2 desk levels with forest view. Guests would enjoy the beautiful granite kitchen with many kitchenwares, large living room and basement. The house is located on top of mountain, just driving few minutes down to the hill. Helen, which is the best German town in US. It has outdoor activities during summer such as tubing in Chattahoochee River, Adventure zipline...Georgia Mountain Coaster is year round. Helen is also surrounded by many beautifull waterfalls and hiking area: Unicorn State Park, Anna Rubby Falls, Raven Cliff Falls, Helton Falls, Duke Creek Falls, Vogel State Park, Tallulah Falls...and many more. Some of them could be swim. Another attractions: -Panning gold and germ stones at Consolidate Gold Mine -Winery at Yonah Mountain Vineyards - Octofest is a famous festival in town every year - Fall is beautiful with foliage LL's house welcome guests to stay in all seasons. PS: Please book exactly number of guests will stay. Guests invite from outside are not allowed. No party. The area is sensitive with noise. You might have a chance to see bears (not very often)

We really enjoyed staying here! We had a big group of 17 people and there was plenty of space for everyone. It worked out great and we had a tremendous Christmas!

This is a very nice home within a gated community. Great if you want to spend time with a groups of friends or family. Neighbors are great!
Our check-in process was a bit harried as we were provided the wrong access code and the owner was unavailable. VRBO customer service was excellent and we couldn’t be happier with the support we received. Though we had a rocky first evening, the owner remedied the situation and the rest of our stay was lovely.
Kitchen is fully stocked for preparing family meals. There are tons of beds and plenty of space so that couples/groups can have their own rooms and bathrooms.

The house itself served our purpose perfectly. Loved thescreened porch.
However, the property advertised a community pool that was closed and tennis courts which were also closed. We were counting on those amenities as entertainment for the young people in our party.

Lovely house in a lovely place. We are older college friends who have been meeting for 23 years so wanted a place to sit, talk and catch up as well as interesting places to explore. Woods lovely this time of year. Kitchen nice for preparing our own dinners so we could linger in the house for discussions.

Area is excellent for our family ranging 2 1/2 yrs old up to 71. We enjoyed a hike to a waterfall, the Georgia mtn coaster, and the cute town of Helen with shopping and delicious food while staying. There were enough beds and bathrooms for all 17 of us and tvs in every room if we wanted some separate space at times. Roku and remotes were a little tricky to use and internet was a bit spotty at times, but that’s my only small issue. Great house and area!

It was amazing honestly, as soon as I walked in it felt like home. Our group was super excited and quickly chose which bed they are sleeping on. We had a safe place, smooth experience, and easy to work with host.

Great location, close to town. Plenty of room in the house for our group of 15. Had a great time!
Constructive criticism:
- the back porches need cleaned. Lots of debris and spider webs
- there weren’t enough bath towels for all of us.
- they could use an additional couple of comfortable chairs for the living room and on the porches

Nice spacious place - Just a couple of hiccups
We all truly appreciated the detailed instructions and the labels on everything. The place was very spacious though I can't see how it could sleep 18 as advertised. I only saw beds for 16.
We had some minor frustrations. The water was turned off for maintenance for part of the day on Tuesday with no warning. Not being able to exit at the back gate was frustrating as well. We wanted to visit Unicoi which is only 2/10 mile from the back gate, but we could not get out using our guest code. The alternative route was 8 miles to go through the town of Helen and around and our GPS kept telling us to turn around.
Be extra careful when locking the back and side doors. They are tricky. You think they are locked but there are not so make sure to double check or just don't use those doors.

Very nice property in a quote and safe neighborhood. Ly’s place was perfect for a weekend retreat in Helen. It’s a short drive into town, but feels like your in the middle of nature when at the house. Would highly recommend.

The house is in a very quiet, gated subdivision, and just a few minutes from downtown Helen. The house is very private with forest for the backyard. There are neighbors, but the houses are situated so you're not looking into anyone's windows! You can't really walk to Helen because the roads are narrow and wind-y, but it's super close and an easy drive. The bedrooms were pretty comfortable, but the bottom floor had a de-humidifier that ran all the time, so it was a little loud. There is not enough seating in the main living area, only 2 leather love-seats. The owners could easily fit another large sofa or sectional to accommodate the number of guests that there are beds, unless you use the dining table chairs. There was only 7 of us. It was cold when we stayed here, but the owner nicely allowed us to use the gas-starter fireplace (you can buy wood and groceries at Betty's Country Store in town). Owner quickly replied to our questions. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking supplies, nice appliances. The bathroom towels aren't very luxurious, but they were okay, and we could use the washer and dryer downstairs to fluff them up. We went to the Valhalla Resort bar and restaurant (within the gated neighborhood) and it was really great! The food was excellent and the wait-staff was so much fun! We enjoyed walking around Helen, eating great food, and hiking some of the MANY parks in the area.

Three couples stayed at this property after a wedding; we actually stayed in town for the wedding. We moved to this amazing house to relax after the wedding. This was the perfect home to do so.

Despite not being able to have late checkout and being charged more for cleaning fee after finding the VRBO for a certain price, the house was perfect. The beds were extremely comfortable and the whole house was spacious. Very close to the center of Helen, too.
