Staff were very helpful and food was very oood
Although warned of ongoing work, we were unfortunate to have scaffolding and workmen right outside our bedroom and felt the "room with a garden view "was less than accurate.
There seemed a lack of personality and atmosphere in the whole building.

Comfortable - nice feel about the place with a wide variety of communal areas. A bar enables use of these and sociable vibe. Incredibly useful bus stop connecting park and ride and town centre directly outside.
It was quite hard to keep the window open in my bedroom (sash)

Location and staff were great. Our small double was perfectly good.

The hotel itself is lovely and they gave us a nice room. Was big and the bathroom was great.
The hot water took a while to come out of the shower.
The beds were an actual double/queen, it was two singles pushed together so we had to constantly push them back or else we would fall in the crevice. What really let it down was how expensive the breakfast was. One small full English was £20. I ordered a side of pancakes thinking they'd be £7 max. I didn't like them and they were obviously purchased from the store. Turns out the pancakes were £20!! Insane. I asked why this was and they gave no real explanation and got annoyed on the phone.
The TV also did not work. It was meant to be a smart TV and none of the smart features worked at all. Had to buy a HDMI from the high street to watch a movie
