Good location, good breakfast
Had to pay extra for parking in hotel car park.( seems to becoming the norm now)On leaving, an ‘optional’ fee added for staff tips

Wonderful staff. A beautiful hotel and lovely room with a very comfy bed and many amenities. Great location . Lovely breakfast room with food cooked to order . The variety of food was extensive and was very tasty. Highly recommended.

Location and good bed
Staff in restaurant and bar are poorly trained resulting in poor service. They are good people and trying but they need some training and better management.

The location was fabulous
Our room 16 didn't have a wardrobe. Just 4 coat-hooks on the wall with hangers, The suitcase stand was below it which negated hanging up a dress. The decor looked very tired, paint was peeling badly on the window and a chair had stains on it.
In the bathroom, there was nor enough shelf space for washbags, the towel rail wasn't clean where the towels weren't hanging, the inside bottom of the shower door wasn't clean and caulk needed to be applied to the shelf top edges over the toilet.
Coffee served at breakfast, should have been much better. We were seated by a window, which had 2 dead flies on it.
I don't expect to be charged a daily rate (£20) by a hotel to park my car in their own grounds.
