very disappointed with our room for the 1st night. 2nd night they changed our room that was warm

spa was good, breakfast nice, hotel an amazing building BUT our room had torn curtains, heating did not work, no heating in bathroom and parts of the bath were filthy and slept in a very cold room after repeatedly notifying reception in person. also Wi-Fi not good at all.

cold room, cold bathroom, filthy bath, no WIFI after checking out, i was promised a call the following day that never came.

Lovely family stay

Beautiful, breathtaking!

The mattress was spring coil which was worn and made noises when you turned. The mattresses need to be updated.

Lovely hotel nice staff nice rooms but the spa area is letting you down

Good position just out of the busy town.

Spa disappointing green mould and black mould in a lot of places some of this could easily be wiped off so total lack of cleaning and upkeep. Broken tiles. Aroma steam room a revolting smell of just man sweat. Showers in this area are not functioning as they should either. Pool overcrowded and tiny and shallow and too hot just a breeding ground for bugs i expect. This is such a let down for this nice hotel. Please revamp this area and make the pool bigger. The short term investment would pay off long term.

Lovely visiting Bath nice friendly hotel just needs some looking after

Lovely hotel comfy beds friendly staff Nice place to stay to visit Bath we walked into bath left the car in car park

Rooms were not very clean tbh bath was dirty and needed a good clean sheet were marked as well also thought the pool area needed a sort out tired and dirty

Excellent apart from breakfast

Great location, friendly staff, lovely spa and comfortable rooms.

Breakfast needs improvement. Ordered room service for 9.00 and no sign of it. Went to Dining room and there was barely any food and the staff had disappeared. The food we had past its best. This hotel is great and we have stayed many times but probably only experienced 1 good breakfast. Please make some changes.

Great spar lovely room. Some staff very helpful but not all.

My husband is an xl size and the spar gowns in the room was not did ask if they had a larger size they said yes but none arrived after 4 days. The continental breakfast was lovely but the cooked breakfast was not Premier Inn was better. The staff at breakfast were very good.

Wonderful stay at the Bath spa hotel

The size of the room was great, dual aspect so wonderful view and also every single member of staff was so polite and helpful, Peter on the front desk on our arrival, Mr Singh in the restaurant on our visit was very attentive. And the two staff that served us in the bar on different occasions were great 👍🏻

Bath didn't seem to drain all that quick so showered in a couple of inches of water

Beautiful hotel set in beautiful grounds

Beautiful building set on lovely well kept grounds. The spa and swimming area were also lovely. Bedroom was clean, big and spacious and had all the facilities we needed.

Breakfast was overpriced. It was cold, tasteless and tough. Disappointing really!

Great stay. Very relaxing :-)

The property is just beautiful, we last stayed back in 2018 and still just as lovely as it was then. This was a stay for our honeymoon and the towels were in shape of swans with rose petals. Beautiful touch!

The breakfast wasn’t as great at it used to be. The hash browns were very floppy but overall it was ok :-)

Relaxing weekend

Comfortable room, great spa facilities. We didn't have breakfast or dinner, so not able to comment. Friendly staff, we were able to check in early which was great.

Poor quality over priced

Dinner Friday night ,room given after complaining, afternoon tea Friday afternoon ,outdoor pool

Being put in a lower standard room whe we arrived, clothes on hanger left in the floor with a bad on them ,clothes on hangers for a reason. Saturday breakfast a shambles and a buffet breakfast in a hotel like this unbelievable.saturday day night meal ,forgot my order, only 3 tables in the restaurant at the time ,excellent skin on chips Friday, cheap oven chips Saturday night. Had much better value in 3 star hotels and better service.

Front of house staff were stressed, there were too few of them, and they needed much more training. “This is my first day” is not an excuse for repeatedly failing to bring toast, cutlery etc to the table, or to be completely unable to calculate the bill - not 5* service

The area and the outdoors

Our room was extremely dusty (we have dust allergies) this was afwul for us. Item of clothing left in changing room and seemed it was thrown away. Pool temperature was very cold and 1 degree from closing due to some technical issue (i booked this based on a pool for my child)

Lovely hotel and facilities but poor restaurant.

Spa and pools, saunas etc excellent

Dinner was overpriced and disappointing. Had to return steak because overcooked and replacement was fatty and gristly for £27! The breakfast wasn’t much better. Undercooked bacon, rubber sausage, cold mushroom but the poached egg was good. Did not eat there the second night. Much better value in Bath.

Good couples weekend retreat

Staff, Room and breakfast.

Had a great stay, my slight compliant was that dinner was included in our stay. However, it was only an allowance of £30 and I didn’t feel there was much range for even two courses within the £30 allowance. The Spa and changing facilities could also do with an upgrade.

Wasn't the worst stay we have ever had, but we won't be returning.

The building and gardens are beautiful. The bed was comfortable.

Our bath taps didn't work. We could hear guests in the room next door due to the adjoining door. None of my 3 choices of breakfast were available. We waited over 10 minutes for our breakfast order to be taken. Nobody was around in the evening for us to pay for our meal. The spa is in need of a good clean and repair.

Wow! Amazing hotel

What's not to like? Sensational hotel, amazing staff, beautiful grounds a nice stroll from Bath Town, nice restaurant and bar, great spa facilities with multiple different pools, saunas and steam rooms. We got a great deal so price was great. Free car parking on site.

Elegant building in beautiful grounds, lovely comfortable beds, great spa facilities and helpful and friendly staff.

Some of the rooms are interconnecting, and not very soundproof. The very lovely and helpful concierge chap (didn’t catch his name but think it began with an A?) was able to help relocate us to another room, which was much better. Breakfast was nice, but a little bit slow.

Great place to take the waters

Fantastic view over Bath from room. Very comfortable bed and a good sized room. Spa easily accessible and with generally good facilities. Outdoor heated pool fantastic for star gazing this time of year. Cooked breakfast good. Great neighbourhood, 5 minutes from the Holburne museum and with the Kennett and Avon Canal just outside the hotel grounds. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

More in terms of shelves/hooks for robes and towels around the pool would be good, and some bits worn. Buffet section of breakfast a bit limited and not too inspired. Bar menu promised more than it delivered.

£75 a night deposit was not mentioned prior to booking still waiting for the refund goes out quick 3 to 5 working days to transfer back. Lovely sarcastic receptionist when I asked about it.
