Sarria is such a cool neighbourhood, away from the tourist hot spots but still close enough to walk in. Pati was our nicest host of the whole trip.

I had an enjoyable stay at Casa Filomena. The host was very responsive and friendly and I appreciated that very much. The accommodations were modest but met my needs and the location was in a nice neighborhood with historic sites nearby.
Nothing stood out to me as particularly negative.

The host was lovely and very welcoming. The bed was comfortable. The house was beautiful.
There were zero facilities- no “getting ready” space or comfortable chair, no television. It wasn’t made clear that the kitchen facilities were communal, and there was a rule about not being allowed to eat in your room, which meant you were expected to eat in the communal area with other guests you don’t know, which I really didn’t like. There was no massage facilities or yoga etc, as advertised, and it was not the spa hotel it was made out to be- there are only 2 rooms in the whole place! Worst part was the busy location and the constant noise outside until 4am which meant we slept really badly in an otherwise comfortable bed.
