The apartment was exactly as shown in the photos. The bathroom, wardrobe, and the room in general were very clean — even for a hygiene freak like myself! The kitchen utensils, however, could have been a little cleaner upon arrival and could benefit from a wash before first use.
We’ll most likely stay here again. One small suggestion: we’d really appreciate a non-plastic V60 pour-over setup among the kitchen equipment for brewing our morning coffee :) There is a Nespresso capsule machine in the room, though we didn’t use it.
Regarding the many comments about the M-size room’s bed being too small for two people: honestly, we were fine. It’s definitely manageable. We stayed for seven nights, and I’d say it was perfectly okay for a week. The main issue isn’t really the size of the bed, but rather that one side is against the wall, which makes getting in and out a little awkward.

Excellent place to stay with family for vacation in vicinity of black forest, great location, supermarket across street, good restaurants.
Everything is good. There must be a kitchen chimney for exhaust.

The location is convenient, with hiking trails just 30 minutes away on foot and the city center about 40 minutes. There's a tram stop right outside, connecting to both the city center and the main train station (Hbf) in approximately 15 minutes. The rooms are simple and spotless.
If you need a reliable internet connection, I would suggest finding an alternative. The best download speed we experienced was a mere 2mb/s, which barely supported browsing, let alone remote work or streaming. Despite notifying the hotel both via booking.com and directly at the front desk, no technician ever showed up over the course of our 10day stay. As a result, we ended up using about 80GB of mobile data as we had planned to work remotely for a few days. Additionally, there are no co-working spaces nearby.
