We really enjoyed our stay there. The hotel rooms are bigger than the average, comfortable, breakfast is great, and staff were polite.
One minor issue they should improve is the coffee machine availability during breakfast. They should have at least two machines. The machine is very slow and there were days we had to wait up to 10 min to get a coffee.

The staff were very helpful and courteous. The hotel was styled in a modern Japanese theme. The entire hotel was scrupulously clean and smart. An excellent location for sightseeing to many places of interest.
The dinner menu was very limited.

It was modern, clean & close to the station. Staff were very courteous and the breakfast was varied - Japanese & Western options. It was a pleasant 20 minute walk to the heart of Kyoto.
Room was small but I’ve discovered most rooms in Japan are small.

The room were clean and comfortable bed
The location. It was far from all the main attractions. I either had to walk for a long distance or take a taxi to reach all of my destinations.
Also the breakfast options were limited and not Halal friendly at all
