We stayed in the suite with private onsen which was an incredible room. The staff were very attentive and it’s a great location, central to lots of places but quiet. Didn’t feel like we were in the city.

Beautiful hotel on a quiet street in a great area. I appreciated the traditional Ryokan rooms, but large Western beds (the only King bed we had in Japan that was a single mattress). The hotel was very comfortable and serene the staff could not have been more helpful. A short walk to many major attractions. I would happily stay here again.

Beautifully presented. Very helpful and polite staff. Good English spoken. Rooms simple but stylish. Excellent Japanese bath.
Breakfast and dinner were a bit close to each other in terms of food content. The dine is fabulous though
