Amazing home that feels authentic and gives you a great feeling of stepping into traditional Japanese culture and history. It has a great location right by the river, close to everything you need yet still being quite and calm. Our host was amazing and took the time to sit and talk to us, answer many questions and accompanied us to dinner in Kyoto. Highly recommend this place.

Одно из лучших мест размещения, в которых я когда-либо жил. Старинный дом с традиционными интерьерами, при этом оборудован всей необходимой техникой. Интерьер такой, что лучшую свою фотосессию в Киото вы можете сделать не выходя из дома. Прекрасная терраса, выходящая на берег реки. Отличное месторасположение.

The perfect house! I've been to Kyoto 3 times and this room is the most Japanese style I've ever experienced. I highly recommend anyone reading this review to book this room. It's right next to the Kamo River, with a great view and a great location, and the fact that it doesn't face the street means it's quiet, which is rare in the city center.
The landlord is very enthusiastic and all our requests can be fulfilled.
The house has 3 large rooms, suitable for a family or a group outing.
It would be nice if the curtains in the room could be more opaque.
