This home is nice and clean.However it is not for older people who cannot access the outside activities.Therefore the home is important.!The beds were high and the toilets and sofas very low. Very low lighting everywhere so impossible to read anywhere at night. The TV was challenging.
Great for younger families who want to be outside. Lots of activities available. Owners were nice but not close enough to be helpful with any issues.
Go and enjoy if you can.

Overall the house was perfect for our family vacation! Communication with the owners were quick and helpful. For ones with boats, the ramp is accessible, a little narrow, but I was able to unload and load my 22’ pontoon. Made it so much better not having to coordinate taking the pontoon to the nearest landing. The house was big enough for my family and my brothers family. The kitchen/dining/livingroom being open was great to be able to take care of things and keep eyes on the little ones. Only thing I saw that needs attention would be having pest control do a thorough spray of the house for critters and cleaning the mess from them, but I know being beside a lake, insects is a norm haha. Definitely would stay again if we stay on the lake again. Thanks for having us!

We had a great stay at the lakehouse. The lake was beautiful and the kids had a blast on the dock. Communication with the owner was prompt and helpful. The place was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. The location has a secluded feel, but is only about 20 minutes away from the big grocery store and about 45 minutes away from Columbia.

This was the ideal property for our long weekend getaway. It's spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and is so peaceful and quiet. The dock and firepit are so inviting and the yard is great for trying the hand at cornhole (provided!). Clara thank you for great communication. We loved our time.

We visit Mom every year and decided to stay in a home instead of a hotel. This is the way to go. This property is very clean and well appointed. The views of the lake are amazing. We spent many hours enjoying the lake. This property is secluded and quiet so if relaxing and listening to nature is what you need this is it. Also with the boat launch makes it convenient to enjoy the lake. This property had everything we needed. The only complaint we would have are the couches are low so for some it is hard to get out of. But the chairs are great.

We visit Mom every year, she is 95. We decided to book a home instead of staying in a hotel to give Mom a little getaway as well. It gave us time to really visit. The views of this home are amazing and you can just stare out at the lake forever. This property had everything we need, very clean and nicely appointed. It is secluded and quiet which for us was perfect. The couches are very low, so hard for and elderly person to get out of but the chairs in the living area worked perfect.
We will definitely stay at this property again.

The house is perfectly situated on the lake. Plenty of room for several people. This house has just about everything you would need to stay. The people who own the house are very helpful and quick to respond.

Great and fun place for the whole family!
The lake house was very clean, easily accessible. and met all our expectations. The sand area was a great place for our toddlers to play in together. It had convenient swimming and boat access. We enjoyed fishing off the dock. The trees need trimming off of boat ramp as it was hard to back our pontoon in without hitting the branches. All in all we enjoyed our vacation and would consider this rental again or recommend to anyone.

This was a much needed quiet getaway. We really enjoyed this beautiful off the beaten path home with a lovely waterfront backyard. We spent much of our time between the sun filled living room, the large comfy deck and the backyard around the fire pit area taking in the sun off the beachfront.

My initial reaction was how clean this property is, but I was equally happy with the comfortable furniture and beautiful location of the property. The back garden is quite private and provides a lovely view of the lake. We made use of the kayaks and the fire pit. It was a lovely, relaxing stay.

Simply Lovely! House was everything we dreamed it could be. Great location and nice sandy beach. My husband just sat for hours on the dock fishing and our kids loved the use of the kayaks. The home was immaculate and the view couldn’t be beat. Sunrise off the dock was worth getting up early. The screened porch was my oasis every morning. We loved our stay and can’t wait to return!

This was our first time in the area and we plan to stay again. We will suggest that having a boat or water equipment would be beneficial for you to bring to add to the fun. We have small children 3, 10, and 12 and they were able to enjoy the water from the boat ramp submerged several feet into the water which was clear enough to see for a decent amount of feet. Fishing was fun, however we only caught 1 perch during our stay. Mosquitos were not really a huge problem especially since you are lake front. The grass was freshly cut in the morning. I enjoyed being able to spend quality time with my family. The homeowner was also very nice and left us info on places near by. The home is in a very decent condition. It was our anniversary weekend, and it was extremely nice to see a bottle of champagne and chocolates which made it extra special. The fire pit was fun and the kids enjoyed smores. If I had to recommend anything, I would say repairing the beautiful deck on the house and the dock would be beneficial to the property in the long run. Also, remember you are in the middle of mother nature, it would not be uncommon for you to come across a racoon or other critter. We would absolutely rent again if available. We didn't want to leave.

A nearby Osprey nest with babies was fascinating. The adults took turns catching fish and feeding their young. We look forward to returning to this magical retreat.
