They had a bowl of mints at the front, which was a cute touch. We didn't expect much for this low of a price at such a central location, but the room was clean and comfortable, and that's all you can really ask for.
The hotel was secured and I have to stress I didn't necessarily feel unsafe (there was a code to enter) but apart from the day we got in, we never saw any staff at the front desk or anywhere else. It felt a little eerie, especially since anyone walking by could technically get access to the computer they had right there.

My favourite things about this hotel were the location and its simplicity. Located within walking distance from a metro station, bus stops, an Iconoglace, and 24-hour convenience stores, this hotel was great for me who was staying in Montreal for a couple of days. Even with such a great location, it was quiet at night and I could sleep well. Keep in mind that you will have to bring you + whatever luggages up a couple flight of stairs.
The AC was phenomenal. Nothing like coming from a hot and humid day out to a nice, cool hotel room. Showers were clean. Towels and two bottles of water were replaced everyday. Shower pressure and temperature control was nice and came equipped with a generic shampoo and body wash. Blowdryer was in working order.

To be reasonable with this review I have to say that the hotel is simple and basic. If you want a bed and bathroom in a good location in downtown/old mtl near train stations this is a decent option. No frills. You will likely pay what you get. If you’re planning on enjoying the city all day long the hotel is fine. Otherwise you can just stay on the bed watching tv. No breakfast, hotel bathroom is small but ok and was clean. No elevator and reception at the hotel works for some hours during the day.
