A superb house in the centre of Lincoln.

The house is in a great location, really close to the Cathedral, Castle and the main town centre which is down Steep Hill.

There was nothing we didn't like about the house. It was the perfect getaway for friends to meet up and explore Lincoln.

Great property on Steep Hill

On arrival we met Craig who handed us the keys and was very welcoming. The cleaning lady hadn't quite finished but greeted us with smiles and immediately helped us up the stairs with our luggage. In the kitchen a huge pack of chocolates, bread , crisps, biscuits, cereals etc were waiting for us which we thought was very generous. The fridge was stocked with milk, jams, butter and fruit juice. The quality of towels, bed linen , decor etc were very good and beds were so comfortable .The location was great as we wanted to visit the castle/cathedral and every day we were treated to a Red Arrows display. Would definitely recommend this property and we intend to return.

There wasn't anything we didn't really like but possibly (as we have young grandchildren ) due to the steep stairs the property may not be suitable for toddlers.

Pefect place for a family getaway. The teenagers loved it!

Quirky, stylish and comfortable. In an excellent location. Fantastic communication with the host. the welcome pack was a lovely touch as was the selections of wines (to purchase if you want).

Everything! Immaculate and well designed properly in the most beautiful part of Lincoln. Hosts were lovely and went out of their way to provide the little touches. Would definitely recommend.

The host was very friendly and helpful.

The property does not have parking outside, the parking is a few streets away and is not guaranteed. We did find a space but what if all the spaces were taken? This should be made clearer when booking the property.

Exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Location absolutely perfect for shopping and eateries. Short distance to the castle and cathedral. A very beautiful place. Providing treats and some basics for us all was really kind and very much appreciated.

Decoration, location, courtyard roof garden

It was good that there was parking and that it was free but it’s permit street parking quite a walk away. Obviously the flat is on a narrow street with no parking so it w was better than nothing but I felt that should have been explained in the description when advertised.

Fantastic location

Fantastic location in the middle of the Cathedral Quarter. Bars and restaurants on your doorstep and main shops only 5 mins walk away. A warm welcome received from the staff in the wine shop downstairs. House full of original charm and character. Looks fairly small from the outside but rooms inside are huge. Beds comfortable and not much noise at night. Very thoughtful welcome pack on arrival which included bread, juice and milk. Excellent communication from Rob the owner. We had a wonderful stay and would happily stay again.

The personal touch - Having someone in the wine shop below helping us. Fabulous wines to choose from in the house (to pay for) Location couldn’t have been better - right in the centre of historic area.

A minor detail but the wonderfully big bath took so long to fill as the tap was slow that we gave up!

A true gem in the heart of Lincoln

The location is super. The parking is easy and free. The host prepared a hamper for us so we did not have to think about our breakfasts, there was milk and jams and butter in the fridge, coffee machine. The property has a five star feel to it, stylishly furnished, immaculately clean. There is back garden patio with seating and bbq facilities. You can see the Castle keep from two of the windows and the Cathedral towers from top front bedroom. A true gem in the heart of Lincoln.
