Staying in a B&B in a local community is always special and important to meet new people, customs, and locales. Our hosts were kind and informative and the house, while old, was cosy and quiet.
While not a problem for us, Woodlands does not have an elevator.
Location was a bit hard to find but we arrived after dark

Property was as described on webpage as photos did also. Staff very helpful and friendly. Edroom was warm and bed very comfortable.
Nothing wrong with this property.

Location was good
External appearance of house and grounds disappointing, suggested neglect. Piles of linen, ironing board and cleaning materials on landing made me feel I was coming into someone’s home rather than commercial guest accommodation. Bedroom - hanging rail over shelf for kettle, not fit for purpose, couldn’t fill kettle under tap. Breakfast bland.
