The layout of the house was bizarre. Light switches could be labeled if not changed completely. Need new placement for 3rd small bedroom door, brighten up full bathroom upstairs and make better use of dead space by downstairs bathroom. Appears the house may be a work in progress....some things like the light fixtures, are new, but many other items need updating including decor. The pool table was way too large for the area. We had issues with wasps at the beach access and several LARGE spiders in the house...both are likely seasonal issues. Owners were very diligent in responding to us! We loved the keypad for entry. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry soap and dish soap all provided but not many kitchen pantry items. A treacherous driveway ...can only approach from ONE direction and no way to turn around. The mailing address may be Lilliwap, but it is closer to Hamma Hamma

We had an amazing time at this location. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. Kitchen could use some additional equipment, but was manageable. We prepared most meals at home. Includes a sauna, ping pong and pool table, which were enjoyed. The highlight of the property is the waterfront. The sloping yard leads directly to the Hood canal. Plenty of outdoor furniture. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking and paddleboarding in the canal. Wonderful place to relax and enjoy a beach vacation!

Pros: • This location is beautiful and mere steps from the water. We spent our days rockhounding on the beach and our nights gazing up at stars. (Beach is rocky, not sandy.) • The house had plenty of room for everyone. It has a quirky layout but we were able to fit our family comfortably. • The kitchen was well stocked and had just about everything we needed. Cons: • The yard is not as pictured. The sprinkler system is broken and the lawn is dead. Weeds were ~1 foot tall so we couldn't really use the yard for games. It looked like it hadn't been mowed in a long time. • The patio table, loungers, and umbrellas in the pictures are not there. The picnic table outside the kitchen is child-sized. BYO chairs. • There is a ground yellowjacket nest next to the fire pit. Two people got stung the first night. I had to drive all the way to Hoodsport for wasp spray and a trap. • There was a note on the door about an unpaid water bill when we arrived. • We lost power twice. It seems this area is used to this as the neighbor has a generator. Both outages lasted a few hours. • Hot/cold are reversed on the washer. We accidentally washed our swimsuits on hot. • There's no light in the bunk room. The light in one of the bathrooms is taped in. • There is no gas grill, only charcoal. Charcoal and firewood isn't provided. • Some of the outlets are old (two-prong) and far from bed tables. Bring extension cords for phone chargers. • The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes when we arrived • No A/C

This is a great location for vacationing in this area. It is ideally located and very quiet. However, the outside area of the home is not what is represented in the online photos. It is very very overgrown outside. The outdoor seating area does not look like the photo. A lot of the furniture is old and on its last leg, literally. The inside of the house needs updating very badly; in one bathroom, there is just a bare bulb covered with tape. We had a good time, and were able to cook and relax as needed at this house, but we won’t be returning for the above issues since outside time near the water is one of the main reasons we visit the canal.

Great location
Great location
This house is located on a great property. Probably the only negative was the driveway was a bit narrow and steep but the minutes you step out the back of the house and see the yard and Hood Canal - makes everything perfect!
