Facilities and staff
Our apartment was located on the street side lovely view of the sea BUT a noisy street with loud bars and music and close to another hotel that was blasting music out until midnight not very relaxing sat on the balcony in the evening

Great hotel, all you need is there. Our 1 bedroom apartment was super spacious, we got a baby crib and a high chair for free, just ask. Big bathroom(s). Huge bed. Nice balcony. Nice staff. Great pools and entertainment. Good food!! We actually found a parking spot in the hotel street every day.
Be aware that you “lose some time” for figuring out the hotel complex (cause it’s a combination of 3 hotels together). Signalization inside is not great, but outside (the pool area) is better.
Even though it’s a big place, you always find quiet time for yourself, so nothing to worry really.
And sadly: it’s all so nice that you easily can forget about the nice island Madeira ;-)

Cleanness, beautiful rooms, breakfast, nice indoor and outdoor pools, location, most staff. The people at the reception are extremely nice! They even gave us a free upgrade. So we decided to extend our stay.
There is one staff in the buffet restaurant who is quite rude. His name is Loudio, I believe (around 50 years old male, with glasses, medium build, with some grey color beard). While I arrived at the restaurant, a waiter was still cleaning a table after the previous people leaving. He confirmed we can sit there. So I asked my husband and kid to go take the food while I sat at the table so nobody would take it. Then Loudio came and told me rudely 'You cannot sit while we are cleaning.' So I stood up and move away from the seat. Then he point at the asile and said 'You, go there.' So I had to move again. The waiter who was cleaning the table felt so bad for me, he waived me to sit back at my seat as soon as Loudio walked away. I told my husband about this incidence afterwards. He said 'Oh he is rude to everybody. I saw him treating others rudely a few times.' I was surprised that someone who is like that could still work for such a nice hotel. We paid a lot of money to stay and eat here. We don't deserve to be treated with rudeness.

We are Members there and always love the variety of pools and places to sit. The gardens are amazing
