Our family of 22 people stayed at the Marmorosch for a family wedding in Bucharest. The hotel staff were friendly, professional and helpful. The rooms were clean and a good size and the toiletries provided were very nice. There was an excellent breakfast with everything one would want to eat. The bar area in the main foyer is great. The night we arrived there was 5 year anniversary party for the Marmorosch with free food and drink for the hotel guests as well. We all had a great time. Some guests had Spa treatments which they thought were very good.

The architecture was very beatiful, lobby design is nice, history of the hotel is interesting, it has some unique features, the staff is helpful and friendly.
For a 5 star hotel you would expect the room quality to be better. Although we took a smallest room, we expected the blankets to be pretty new, however the wool inside it was completely re-organized and uneven due to excessive washing, it was a time to change them because one part of the blanket was thich, while other parts completely empty, you can easily see it by putting the blanked under the light. Additionally - the bathroom had a lot of limestone formed on the sink and shower, a lot of chloride smell was always present. When it comes to the breakfast - although the taste was good, the ingredient quality could be bettter. The kitchen uses a lot of cheaper low quality fats such as sunflower oil instead of butter, tallow or olive oild (richer in omega-3 - a more stable fats better for your cell membranes), additionally the hotel is lacking their own bakery - it seems that most if not all the pastries were imported from another service provider which also used a lot of unhealthy ingredients such as omega-6 full vegetable / seed oils, corn / glucose / fructose syrups instead of sugar and soy / sunflower lecithin instead of more cacao butter (cheaper but not healthy for long term consumption). The last day we have ordered a truffle omplete, which comes with a salad, and they brought only the omplete without the salad. The gym is very underwhelming - very little space and lack of equipment such as barbell with heavier weights, more of a cardio studio than a gym. The pool area although aesthetic, is very small and smell of chloride was disturbing.

The stuff was very nice and helpful
The air conditioning wasn’t working properly and needed a filter change, and both the room and hallways had a strange chemical smell, while the bathroom smelled like sewage—fine for one night, but I definitely wouldn’t stay any longer.
