This place was probably the best rental I have ever been in! I’m very picky and this met all of my needs and I can’t believe how clean it was. I will not hesitate to rent this again if I come back to the area.

Lucy made decorated townhouse in the Christmas spirit and made us feel at home over the holidays. Very thoughtful to our needs and super responsive.
The property is brand new, extremely comfortable and very well maintained. Kitchen is fully equipped if you want to cook your own food, which is impornat to us.
All 3 bedrooms are great, 2 masters on the upper floor are quite luxurious.

We stayed while skiing each day at Monarch Mountain. It was an easy commute to the mountain. Property was spacious with comfortable bedding and enough seating for our group. Everything we needed to prepare meals was included in the kitchen. We would definitely stay here again for a winter or summer getaway.

We found this property to be super clean. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was adequately equipped for our needs and the property was easily accessed. One small improvement would be better lighting for reading, in bedroom as well as living area.

Great place!
This place was great! This is a newer property, in a newer neighborhood. The place is furnished with very nice furniture. In fact, we stayed here over the Christmas break and the place was decorated great! The beds were all very comfortable.
The location is perfect for those who like to ski Monarch and enjoy Salida. We would definitely stay here again!

This was a great location for our daily excursions to Canon City for the Royal Gorge train ride, Brownn Canyon rafting in Buena Vista, hike on Mt Princeton, visit to the ghost town in St Elmo, Cottonwood hot springs, and tube floating and shopping in Salida.
Lucy was so helpful and responded quickly. We loved our little goodie bag! Thank you Lucy for making our stay absolutely perfect!

This 2 story duplex with 2 master bedrooms/bathrooms upstairs, and one BR with full bath down was perfect for our group of 2 couples and my 2 adult nephews. The kitchen and bathrooms were very well equipped, and everything was brand new. The beds were super comfortable. It gets light before 6 am so it was nice to watch sunrise over the mountains from front bedroom, but not so much if you wanted to sleep in, but we never did. Perfect location close to town, and close to intersection to go to other places nearby. New construction going on in this neighborhood, but it was never an issue. Nice to have coffee on the front bench, but it got too hot to sit on later in the day. We are coffee snobs and brought our own with grinder but were able to use the drip coffee maker ok. We attempted several times to get the Nespresso to work, but even after looking up instructions online, even the engineer in the group did not have luck. Everything else was perfect. The cute fake fireplace gave some welcome warmth after a soaking afternoon storm. Only feedback would be to have fewer knickknacks on the bathroom counters and other surfaces to allow for guests' things. Also not sure what to do with recycle so brought some home. We will be back!

Overall an amazing experience. Lucy was open an honest about everything in the area for places to hike, things to do, eat, and so much more. We had an issue with the wifi but they drove over an hour and a half to come and fix it in the same day. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

The property is located a little outside Salida downtown amongst other new constructions happening around. It is less than an hour drive to Twin Lakes and around 1.5hrs to Independence Pass & Sand Dunes. These short drives were great plus points for us. Not to forget the views outside the front door in the morning are great!
I went with 6 of my friends for 4 days and had a very pleasant stay. The host Lucy is amazing, her attention to detail in the rental property is great and she is pretty responsive. Lucy helped us not only with the directions to get there but also with the local attractions to try. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to all my friends who are in and around Salida.
