A spacious 3,500 sq ft home with convenient access to downtown Salida and all things outdoors. The home is newly renovated with a private hot tub, large game room, two king suites, an expansive deck, and a sunroom with panoramic views of breathtaking mountains. If you are looking for a luxurious and spacious Salida vacation, look no further than The Great Salida Getaway. Salida is known as "The Heart of the Rockies". There is something to do for everyone in this high-mountain riverfront town. Explore the area through various water sports, skiing, snowboarding, ziplining, hiking, walking tours, or strolling through downtown. After a day of adventures, imagine relaxing in the soothing waters of your private HotSpring hot tub. Located just outside of the sunroom near the BBQ grill. Choose from one of the seven seats in the spa, then enjoy the jets and light features. It's an ideal place to unwind, soothe tired muscles, and enjoy the cool Colorado evenings under the stars. This latest addition is sure to enhance your stay, providing an extra touch of luxury to your Salida experience. KITCHEN We love to cook, so you will have access to all the cooking essentials! The kitchen is stocked with silverware, plates, bowls, glasses, coffee cups, and wine glasses. It also has pots, pans, slow cooker, blender, coffee grinder, strainer, mixing bowls, and more. We have you covered for the small miscellaneous items such as all the openers for wine, bottles and cans. We keep salt & pepper stocked at all times, but we do not provide additional perishable items. We supply a 1/2 pound bag of organic coffee from an Arkansas River Valley favorite, The Buena Vista Roastery. Please ask if you have specific cooking needs. BEDS/BEDROOMS There are three private bedrooms in the home. Each bedroom offers a noise machine for those of us who can only fall asleep to sound. Bedroom 1 is the master suite. It is located on the lower level of the home and offers a canopy bed with a King memory foam mattress. It has an en suite bathroom and direct access to the sunroom. Enjoy a private sitting area for two if you need some time alone. In the closet, you will find a 2-in-1 compact playard with a bassinet & playpen for your little one. Bedroom 2 is the second master suite with a memory foam king mattress. It is located on the main level down the hall from the dining room. In the closet, you will find another 2-in-1 compact playard with a bassinet & playpen. There are also portable fans and additional linens for the pull out couch in this closet. Bedroom 3 is located across the hall from Bedroom 2 and offers a memory foam Queen mattress. Bed 4 is a Queen pullout couch located in the main floor living room. BATHROOMS Bathroom 1 offers a walk-in tiled shower with dual rainfall shower heads, dual sinks, and a private toilet room. Bathroom 2 offers a tub and shower combination with a rainfall shower head because once you use a rainfall shower head, you'll never want anything else. Both bathrooms are supplied with bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, and hair dryers. Additionally, we provide travel-size shampoo, conditioner, body soap, lotion, and makeup wipes in each bathroom. LIVING ROOMS Each shared living space is equipped with a smart TV. Please note that we do not offer streaming services, but all apps are available for use with your own account. All couches at The Great Salida Getaway are made of real leather for ultimate comfort. There are many seating options throughout the home to spread out as needed throughout your stay. SUNROOM/BBQ The wet bar is stocked with silverware, plates, bowls, cups, and grilling utensils. Propane is stocked and available for your use. There is a countertop dishwasher on the wet bar so you do not have to haul your dirty dishes upstairs. Enjoy the sun while lounging in a hammock or a swinging egg chair. GARAGE (GAME ROOM) The garage is fully insulated, but it is still a garage. We have a space heater in there, but it can be quite chilly when it's freezing outside. In the garage, there are many games to choose from: table tennis, basketball, Connect 4, Hook21, darts, board games, and cards. The backyard is for you to explore. Please do not enter the courtyard through the metal gates. This space is reserved for the long-term tenants in the triplex. We provide a contactless check-in with a smart lock. We have partners in the area that are available should any hands-on issues need to be addressed. Otherwise, we are available through the platform's messaging software to answer any questions regarding the home and local area. The Great Salida Getaway is located in a safe setting between downtown Salida and Poncha Springs. The sits above HWY 50 and the seasonally flowing Murry Ditch. Located off County Road 120, guests have access to an amazing paved bike path that connects the town of Poncha Springs and Salida. It is a 4-mile bike ride down the path to downtown Salida or a short 1-mile walk/ride to the town of Poncha Springs. Chaffee County fairgrounds is conveniently located across the street from the Lodge and is an awesome place to watch a rodeo or horse show. Parking for the Getaway is located in front of the two-car garage doors. There is additional parallel parking along the front of the home. Please utilize caution when entering/exiting County Road 120. There is an amazing paved bike path located across the street from the Lodge that goes to both Poncha Springs and downtown Salida. County Road 120 is a short 4-mile drive into the heart of downtown Salida. Guests will not have access to the fireplace or shed. We do not offer a fire pit due to the dry climate and high winds. We appreciate your understanding. The maximum occupancy limit is 8 guests. Additional guests are accommodated on a case-by-case basis. Please contact the owners for exceptions. If unapproved additional guests are discovered at the property during a stay, the renter will be evicted from the property immediately, charged $250 per guest per night, and will not receive a refund for the remainder of their stay. If the additional guests are not discovered until after the renter leaves, the renter will be charged $250 per guest per night. The Great Salida Getaway Rental Agreement One Summit Real Estate, Inc. The Great Salida Getaway “owners” are Mason & Ashley Robinson. The Great Salida Getaway “rental company” is One Summit Real Estate, Inc. The Great Salida Getaway is located at 9955 County Road 120, Unit C Salida, CO 81201. The following rules are strictly enforced to adhere to the county’s strict rental regulations and to ensure the owner’s rental permit is not revoked and is annually renewed. When a reservation is confirmed at The Great Salida Getaway (on any platform) the renter acknowledges and agrees to the following terms outlined below. The owners reserve the right to cancel any renter’s reservation without notice. The renter is liable for the actions of their guests. PETS No pets are allowed. We do not allow exceptions. If a pet is discovered at the property during a stay, the renter will be evicted from the property immediately, charged $250 + damages, and they will not receive a refund for the remainder of their stay. If the pet is not discovered until after the renter leaves, the renter will be charged $250 + damages. PARTIES No parties are allowed. This is a zero-tolerance policy. If a party is discovered at the property during a stay, the renter will be evicted from the property immediately, charged $250 + damages, and they will not receive a refund for the remainder of their stay. If the party is not discovered until after the renter leaves, the renter will be charged $250 + damages. SMOKING No indoor smoking is allowed. Please dispose of all butts if smoking outdoors. If it is discovered that any guest is smoking inside the property during a stay, the renter will be evicted from the property immediately, charged $250 + damages, and they will not receive a refund for the remainder of their stay. If smoking residue is not discovered until after the renter leaves, the renter will be charged $250 + damages. FIRES Due to the dry climate of the valley and high fire danger, fires of any kind are not allowed at the property. FIREARMS & FIREWORKS The discharging of firearms or fireworks on these premises is strictly prohibited. If either of these rules are broken, the renter will be immediately evicted and will receive a $250 fine + any other legal fee’s accumulated from the altercation. QUIET HOURS The Great Salida Getaway is a multi-unit property with shared walls. Quiet hours are from 10:00pm through 6:00am. Guests that are excessively loud during the quiet hour period will be politely asked to reduce noise. If the guest continues to be loud during quiet hours, law enforcement may be called and fines will be assessed in accordance with noise policy. NOISE No guest shall make, cause, or permit unreasonable noise to be emitted from the property that is audible upon private premises in excess of the limits set forth in Title 25, Article 12, Colorado Revised Statutes, or otherwise disturbs the peace. If the renter violates this rule, the group will immediately be evicted and will receive a $250 fine + any other legal fee’s accumulated from the altercation. LATE CHECKOUT We do not allow late check-outs. The cleaning team needs maximum time to prepare each unit due to our high cleaning standards and occupancy levels.
