Everything was perfect — the accommodation was exceptionally well maintained and spotlessly clean. Our window faced the Atlantic Ocean, offering a wonderful view. The room was spacious, bright, and very comfortable. There was a fan available, although we never needed to use it as the room temperature was perfect and it never felt too hot.
The shared bathroom was cleaned every day, and the kitchen was very well equipped. We especially loved the beautiful rooftop garden, which offered several lovely spots to sit and relax.
Despite the nearby church, we never heard the bells and the accommodation was peaceful and quiet throughout our stay. The only occasional noise came from cars driving along the street, but this was infrequent and there was no traffic noise at night.
The location was wonderful, with beautiful architecture and a truly authentic atmosphere. The tea plantations were only about a 15-minute drive away. It took around 30 minutes to walk to a beautiful beach, and right next to the accommodation there was a lovely harbour with a viewpoint and a fantastic playground area with barbecue facilities.
There is a parking space directly next to the accommodation, although we used another parking space about a three-minute walk away. So there are two parking options, and there always seemed to be a space available, with plenty of room to manoeuvre.
You can feel the coziness and care that has gone into every detail of this accommodation. We had a wonderful stay and are very grateful to our hosts for the lovely time we spent here. We would definitely come back!

The location is quite convenient, there’s a big parking space right across. The room is spacious, nice smart TV, shower looks new.
Unfortunately, the condition of the house (plumbing, water heating, ventilation, planning etc.) is really troubling and doesn’t meet the advertised level of quality or price/quality ratio, probably due to the fact that the house was built in an amateur way (which is promoted as the sweet fact of being “handmade”).
Due to the unprofessional plumbing setup guests are forbidden to flush the toilet paper in the toilet, and were instructed to dispose of it un a small trash. Since the bathroom is directly connected to the sleeping area, there’s a lack of proper ventilation and the door does not close properly, this quickly leads to noticeable odors, especially given the fact that regular cleaning services were not included as part of the stay and had to be requested at an extra cost.
There’re also noticeable wet/old odors in the whole house, due to the lack of proper planning and ventilation smells from the kitchen get distributed through the whole house etc. The hosts attempt to mask the smells by placing aroma sticks everywhere, yet this doesn’t help.
Because of the poor water heating planning guests are asked to limit showers to five minutes and yet you also need to wait up to a minute for hot water to start.
Apparently, there’re also problems with electricity in the house (so guests need to limit the amount of kitchen devices being run simultaneously).
