About this house rental
Nestled in Steamboat Springs, this lovely house for $469 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Escape to Steamboat Springs and enjoy the mountain experience of Cortina. This high-end, mountain modern home (half of a duplex) allows you to relax while being only 1 mile to Steamboat Resort, restaurants, and bars. Large glass windows frame stunning views of the surrounding mountains and ski areas which can also be experienced from the private outdoor patio. You’ll enjoy the hardwood floors throughout, concrete countertops, stainless appliances (gas range), crisp cotton sheets, and incredibly comfortable Leesa mattresses in every bedroom. New and beautiful furnishings with unique local art are displayed for your enjoyment. After your busy day, relax in the 6 person dry sauna or spend time in front of the fireplace while enjoying the 65” smart TV. The Loft bedroom has a bonus living space with a second smart TV. In addition, games, books, and toys are provided for your entertainment. The well-appointed kitchen is a chef's delight complete with Scanpan cookware, a KitchenAid mixer, spices/supplies, and ample storage. All three bedrooms are located on the second level and closets have Container Store drawers to easily organize your belongings. The bedroom configuration is as follows: 1. King master with large en suite bathroom 2. King bedroom with walk-in closet 3. Loft bedroom with 1 Queen bed located on the primary level and 2 full beds located in the loft which are accessed by ladder The full bath is shared by the King bedroom and Loft bedroom and has a large vanity, many hooks for towels, and a tub/shower. There’s a ½ bath located off of the kitchen on the first floor. For working remotely, desks and office chairs are located in the Master bedroom and Loft bedroom when workspaces are needed. Your garage space is outfitted with ski and bike storage to help organize your outdoor toys. If you have more than 1 vehicle there’s ample room for parking outside the garage (up to 3 vehicles outside/possible trailer). Four-wheel drive is strongly encouraged in the winter to access the property and safely travel around Steamboat. Steamboat Resort is one of few resorts that provides FREE parking at Meadows Lot. This home is offered as dog friendly with dog-loving owners, but only with advance approval for well-trained dogs and responsible dog owners (sorry, no cats). ***Please note at the time of booking if you'll be bringing a dog.*** Up to two dogs are allowed for a $50 nightly dog fee. Additional Rental Information: *Dogs can be let directly out to the backyard. Please note there is no fence so your dog will need to be leashed and/or monitored while outside. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or beds. *Bear Creek trail-head is located 200 yards from this home which connects to the vast trail system throughout Steamboat *Located 1 mile to Steamboat Resort *Located 3.5 miles to downtown Steamboat *Full-size washer and dryer *Free High-Speed WIFI and Cable *Most mountain residences, including this property, do not have air conditioning. Fans are provided for your comfort. *Located on a private cul-de-sac with mountain views. *This property is accessed by way of a set of interior stairs (recommended in winter) or exterior stairs. Please make sure all people in your group are comfortable navigating stairs. *NO SMOKING

Great spot for family . Kitchen was stocked to make holiday meals, beds were comfortable, hot water was excellent, which in winter is a big thing, and we enjoyed our stay. Hard to get everyone together with busy lives and competing schedules. Thanks for a lovely time.

We absolutely loved our stay. Everything was perfect! My son has stayed at many VRBO's and said this is the perfect Place, so well built and furnished. The Manual for our stay was incredibly written and Insightful. We cannot wait to come back.!!

Good Location, at the top of Walnut creek rd, a few blocks from gondola. cozy spot. Room for all of us and ski and fly fishing gear. Nice open kitchen/main room area with large kitchen table, fireplace and big screen. pup enjoyed his stay too

We truly loved the house! Very unique touches... stone walls, rough-hewn wood, sliding barn doors, huge windows with electric shades, etc. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped and the beds are VERY comfortable. We're talking about maybe heading back to Steamboat for a ski trip and would definitely try to stay at this property again!

We had so much fun. Traci was very responsive and helpful before, during, and even after our stay. I accidentally left my Kindle and she even found it and is shipping it back. This property was more expensive than the many condos available but it was for sure worth it. So peaceful and quiet having my morning tea and quiet time on the patio every morning. We even saw 2 GORGEOUS dear right by the house….and lots of birds and chipmunks. We loved Steamboat and we loved this house!!!

Loved the quiet mountain setting of the living quarters. Property is well equipped with amenities and was very clean when we arrived. Beds were great! Owners were excellent to communicate with and anxious to make sure we were satisfied. As mentioned in the listing, there are steep stairs to the unit. Also worth noting is that the garage is shared with the neighbor, although we had ample room to park or store bikes, etc. We would definitely consider staying at this unit again.

Had a very nice stay in the unit. It is well located about 3 minutes from the main ski area by car, near near creek trail in a quiet neighborhood. Unit is well furnished, updated and very pleasant to stay in. We enjoyed our time in the unit. Couple of small nuts. It is a duplex so you have a neighbor and have a shared deck situation. Also the unit shares a driveway, and is just adjacent to parking for another house with about 5 renters of 20 something age. They were pretty quiet but it is something to be aware of, not as isolated as.renting a house, just depends on what you want. Last nit, stairs are very steep and would not be code in any way today, inside and out. But those small items aside, we enjoyed it.

This house has a beautiful interior, is well stocked, and situated on a great lot. We had all of the cooking tools we needed for meals. The patio is private with fantastic views of the valley. The master bedroom and bath were spacious. The bedroom with the loft is great for older kids. It was just a very nice relaxing stay!

My family of four had the best time in Steamboat for a week at this awesome house. Traci was so responsive and helpful. This home is in a very quiet neighborhood. The house also has super comfortable beds! It is perfectly located - convenient to the ski hill, shops and restaurants. We went in the summer and the home was cool enough with the windows open at night. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances, pots, pans, dishes and some basics for cooking. I LOVED the home and I would love to book it again!

My husband and I stayed at the Mountain Home with our grown kids and their partners and two dogs. The place was perfect - very well done, well equipped and met our needs well. For those who needed to work on some weekdays there was room enough, desks and sufficient Wi-Fi - and it was a fun place to hang out and relax after skiing. The garage was great for storing equipment and there are a number of stairs to reach the unit - but with the kids help it was not an issue. The place has great views and is a quick drive to the ski hill and frequent/free bus service from the parking lot.

We had a fantastic time at this property. It was clean and just as advertised. The kids had fun with the games and puzzles and the adults certainly enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine. The neighbor was very friendly and went out of his way to alert us when the local elk herd came to visit. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again.

Great property and the property manager was fantastic and responsive. It's about 5-10 minutes from everywhere you need to go. We enjoyed having the extra space. Lots of stairs but this is the case with most properties.

My family of 7 ranging in ages from 27 to 61 … and our large dog enjoyed our stay. The home included a large living area, a kitchen table large enough for 8 … and plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms which met our groups needs. There was also all the pots, pans and utensils to cook our meals. We would definitely consider staying here again if our travels bring us back to Steamboat.
