A lovely house in an extraordinary enviroment. Tight twisting roads to get there. Welcoming owner and staff. Very nice little room which suited me very well. V nice breakfast.
Light on extra facilities but that was known in advance. Good parking and wifi. Nice to sit out of doors in company until dusk.

What a lovely place to stay while in Sintra! It felt just as magical, quaint and historic as Sintra itself.
Our Chalet had a beautiful view of the Castle of the Moors, and on our very first evening, we sat out on the terraced patio simply watching the mist and clouds roll over the castle. It was such a magical way to begin our stay. ✨
Jerome, who owns and manages the place, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I had originally booked just one night through Booking.com, but when I decided I wanted to extend our stay to three nights, he helped me arrange it directly and even offered us a great price.
The breakfast spread included with the stay was pretty good too — cured meats and cheeses, assorted cereals, fresh bread and croissants, along with some lovely sweet pastries. There was also complimentary bottled water for each person every day, which was a thoughtful touch.
But the best part was getting to stay in the historic Chalet itself. At over 110 years old, it has its own story woven into Sintra’s history, including a connection with the beautiful Beister Palace.
A truly charming and memorable stay — the kind of place that feels like part of the Sintra experience rather than simply somewhere to sleep. ❤️

Loved our stay in this unique old home situated about a 10 minute walk to the old section of town. Very friendly staff and accommodating, as we had an early morning flight and they left us packaged breakfast to grab on the way out.

The house is stylish and interior is beautiful.
Windows are small and it was a bit hit during summer. Traffic to the house is terrible during day time. It is a one way road with many tour buses. Expect traffic jam and long delay.
