Think Twice Before Booking – Especially in Summer

The apartment is in a good location, and the staff were helpful and cooperative. They were there on time when we arrived. These were the positive aspects of our stay.

The location is good, but mainly for visiting some nearby attractions for a day. If you want to go to the Colosseum, the Vatican, the beach, or reach the train/metro/bus station, you will most likely need a taxi.that’s means it’s not very good The biggest problem with this apartment is the bedrooms and the air conditioning. The second “bedroom” is basically a converted storage/closet space, even with a closet-style door, where a bed has been placed and it is advertised as a bedroom. There is no window at all. It has a portable floor air conditioner, but in such a small, completely enclosed room with no window or proper ventilation, we did not find it suitable or comfortable for sleeping. The first bedroom also has a portable floor air conditioner instead of a proper installed AC unit, which made sleeping very uncomfortable. On the ground floor, there is a hot tub, but there was also a very strong mold and damp smell. We f ound it extremely unpleasant and could not stay in that area for more than a couple of minutes. Another serious issue was the persistent sewage smell inside the apartment. We noticed this unpleasant smell regularly during our stay, which made the overall environment even more uncomfortable. The kitchen on the first floor also does not have a microwave. In my opinion, this apartment could be a much better place if proper air-conditioning units were installed. It really needs at least three proper AC units. Without adequate air conditioning and ventilation, especially during th e summer, the apartment is extremely uncomfortable. Unfortunately, after staying here for four days, my wife, my children, and I all became sick. We cannot say with certainty what caused it, but considering the poor ventilation, mold/damp smell, sewage odor, and inadequate air conditioning, we were very concerned about the indoor environment.
