Breakfast was outstanding, location was good but next time, would prefer to stay closer to Bowness centre rather than Windermere centre (but we knew that beforehand). Friendly, helpful staff, and good parking. Very clean accommodation, in a pleasant neighbourhood.
Would have liked a lounge to sit in, rather than sitting in the room. Our electric shower wasn’t working, but staff apologised and kept us up-to-date with efforts to have it repaired - room had a bath with a shower attachment, so it was manageable. And a bit of nit-picking here - it was really difficult to lock the room door due to the size of the door knob and its proximity to the lock, if that makes sense.
