Proximity to downtown and spacious accommodation. The view was unexpectedly beautiful. I had not anticipated the building being under the end of the flight path and was super impressed with how well insulated it was from noise. The neighborhood had great amenities, I found Ocho and Books and Records. CVS was helpful too.
It was ok as I packed light but the stairs were more than anticipated. The entry instructions detailing the "towers" could use more detail. I replied to an email about letting the manager know that I had checked out but didn't realize for hours that the email was a no-reply to booking.com. A hotlink in the email text would be helpful.

Excellent location, easily accessible from all freeways
The space has a very large separate living and a spacious bedroom room with a king sized bed Also a great view of the city
I was located on the fourth floor and there is no elevator.

The self check in.
The entry way smelled like urine due to the homeless people sleeping on either side of the street. The unit pictured was not the one we stayed in. There was no view out of our window. It was not on the second floor, it was up 4 flights of narrow stairs. The night we checked in the unit upstairs was occupied by a drunken man who kept us up from 10 pm until 330 am. Thankfully, we didn’t have to deal with this again. But I was not satisfied with the fact that we could hear him as clearly as we did! When I reported it, the host responded to me with the ‘no noise after 10’ policy!
