Walk through that bathroom to the bedroom area, bed was so noisy and just about holding up, plug sockets didn’t work

Beautiful view of the waterfall from the balcony. Helpful staff (David and Maggie) coordinated our luggage storage when we had a last minute change in our itinerary. We liked the Swiss-German food on the menu and the cold draft beer. Loved the chocolate soufflé for dessert! Lauterbrunnen is a good central spot for train connections and cable cars to many hikes. Can walk (or bus) to Staubach Falls and Trümmelbach Falls.
There is no elevator, but we thought the stairs were manageable for reasonably fit people. The town itself is pretty quiet after sunset but noisy neighbors can be annoying if you sleep with the balcony doors open.

We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel. The location was pretty good, walkable to train station.
We totally didn’t like that the entrance to the room was from the bathroom door. There was no separate door to the room but it wasn’t shown or mentioned on their website. Taking shower in the bathroom was very inconvenient. When we reached there, it was so hot in the room. There was no fan or AC in the room. We asked for a fan but it wasn’t the best either. We were not able to keep the windows open at night, even when it was so hot because there were only glass windows and there were chances of bugs to come in. Housekeeping was ok as we were going to the reception every morning to ask for tea bags. The kettle they provided, wasn’t getting plugged in. We were there in the first week of August.
