A top location for me! The area turned out to be a little culinary paradise, very close to the Triple Bridge and just on the edge of Ljubljana’s historic centre. It’s a part of the city I hadn’t really explored before, and I was genuinely impressed by it.
Just to give you an idea: in the small enclosed courtyard shared by the buildings, including the one where Epicenter Rooms is located, there are three very good restaurants – all three well worth trying. ;)
A very good combination of clean, comfortable rooms, a reasonable price, and an excellent location.
The self-service check-in can be a little confusing at first. The place was not that easy to find, and the key is stored in a small old-fashioned combination lockbox that can be a bit fiddly to open. I did receive instructions by email, though, and the owner was very helpful when I called, so this was really just a few minutes of initial frustration.
The kitchen and, more importantly, the bathroom are shared. This can be a little inconvenient if the rooms are occupied by people who don’t know each other. If you are travelling as a group of friends or acquaintances and book the whole apartment, it’s hardly an issue at all. ;)
Once you find your way in and get settled, everything is absolutely fine.
And one extra tip: ask your AI compadre about the culinary scene in this exact micro-location. You might be surprised. ;)

Czysto i super lokalizacja, na bardzo klimatycznej ulicy.
Niestety na minus wspólna łazienka dla 3 pokoi i bardzo głośne skrzypiące drzwi i zamki, każde wyjście z pokoju, czy łazienki jest wybudzające i bardzo hałaśliwe.

The location was great and it was clean. The host was very responsive whenever we need help.
We didn’t understand from the ad that we would be sharing the bathroom. However it was very clean and we didn’t have much issues at the end.

La posizione e il letto comodo.
A parte l’iniziale equivoco del bagno in comune (di cui è vero non mi sono accorta al momento della prenotazione ma non sono sono stata l’unica - vedi altrettante recensioni - e quindi è mal segnalato), la sporcizia sulle scale all’ingresso della struttura, il cattivo odore nella stanza, gli asciugamani lisi e uno bianco con gli aloni, la doccia fredda di mio marito perché non bastava aprire il miscelatore sull’acqua calda (il giorno dopo ci hanno detto che avremmo dovuto leggere e seguire delle istruzioni inviate tramite pdf).
Resistito una notte, poi abbiamo voluto cambiare struttura, pur pagando due volte la permanenza a Lubiana.
Alle mie segnalazioni, dopo una iniziale apparente comprensione non è seguito nemmeno un parziale rimborso per la notte non goduta e i disagi (mi bastava la buona volontà). Prezzo/qualità molto basso.
