The room was clean. It was in the basement of the New Post Office. The windows were small so overall the space was a bit dark. There was one double bed in a very tiny room. The other bed was a pull-out sofa bed.
We stayed on a Saturday night. Unfortunately, the local bar was loud and noisy for several hours until 2 am which caused us to lose sleep. Perhaps it wouldn't be so noisy on a weeknight.
We had asked for an early check in as our ferry arrived at 11 am. When I asked at the reception desk about it, the staff was rude and didn't offer any luggage hold space until I asked. Unfortunately, the luggage hold space did not appear to be a locked space (it was a space underneath stairs) so we elected to keep our luggage in our locked car.

Spacious, very comfortable beds, great shower, very clean, great island experience. Loved the coffee in the common space!
Didn’t realize we’d be in the basement apartment. Would have preferred to be ready for that detail.

The location was great, and the room was clean. It was helpful to have a washing machine/dryer at our disposal. The lounge would be nice if traveling with a group, but I would recommend not putting anyone else directly across from it.
Communication ahead of time was non-existent. Every other property gave us detailed instructions and recommendations ahead of time. The neighbors trash was the only view we had from our window, and the building was noisy. Every time someone entered the building, our front door would shudder.
