We liked the location- nice area to explore for a few days.
We found this awful value for money. While there are some nice things there (eg yoga, breakfast), none of it is included in the room price- which is incredibly high. This was the most expensive place we stayed in Costa Rica and yet offered the least. Asides from a text from the staff, we didn’t have a single person speak, welcome or acknowledge us in person, during a 3 day stay. Definitely not worth the money. However, when I’ve looked at rates since, they seem to be lower, so not sure if we were taken advantage of. Room was very basic for the price (nearly $600 for 3 nights!). On our honeymoon and we were given the room right alongside the pool, so we were woken by kids playing in the pool and had to keep our blinds down to retain privacy, as people were sat on laptops rights outside our window.

The rooms were very clean, the food at the jungle bar was delicious, the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a short walk to the beach and lots of options for food nearby. The yoga classes were also amazing. It was a nice, quiet resort perfect for relaxing.
The pool had quite a few large bugs floating in it each day
