Excellent location, great access to beach and restaurants. Comfortable bed and pillows, clean room, great staff, AC worked great. Very spacious room and big shower. Bottled water provided anytime, great little patio and hammock.
Kitchen noise very loud next to this room. No fridge, no coffee or other small snacks available.

We had a wonderful stay at La Negra Surf Hotel in Nosara. From the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed by the owner and the managers Nina and Julian. They are not only incredibly friendly but also very relaxed and truly embody the “Pura Vida” spirit. They were always happy to help with anything we needed.
The hotel itself is fantastic. Very clean rooms, thoughtfully designed, and functional while still feeling cozy. Its location is perfect, just a short distance from the beautiful Playa Guiones, making it ideal for beach days and surfing.
Overall, it was a beautiful stay in an authentic place full of surfer vibes. We would definitely come back and highly recommend La Negra Surf Hotel to anyone visiting Nosara!

The location to the beach is amazing - just a 2-3 minute walk.
The family that runs the hotel is wonderful - they went above to make our stay enjoyable.
Walking distance to restaurants.
Common kitchen has filtered water.
The rooms are very small, not much space for your luggage and hanging wet clothes. The pillows are bulky and too firm (we woke up with kinks in our necks). I thought breakfast was included with the room but it's extra, so that was a surprise (my fault). The hotel is right in town, which is great for getting around, but it's loud at night- lots of motorcycles going by.
