the room is compact and clean, location is good, close to subway. staff is helpful in a comfortable way.
since i'm a tourist who don't understand Japanese, it might be helpful if staff can give some clear information about calling taxi or uber in English. maybe make a small information list will be helpful.

The rooms are small but comfortable, and the location is very convenient. They also offer some lovely little extras, such as face masks and other amenities — definitely worth checking out.
Not all of the reception staff speak English. Also, the windows in the rooms are permanently sealed, so it is not possible to open them and air out the room.

Was our second time at Sotetsu in Kyoto, the stay was very comfortable and the staff is great and helpful. Very good located we’ll be back
