We really enjoyed our stay. A lovely hotel and a memorable part of our honeymoon in Kyoto. Short cab ride to the best parts of Kyoto. Walkable to the best museums and galleries too.
Our only criticism is that the breakfast could have been better. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay.

Everything was truly amazing! After a long morning of exploring I arrived early and was let into my room before the official check in time! Thank you to all the staff! You all made my trip truly enjoyable and I hope to come again sometime!

Quiet, solitude, far from city, which is what was expected
Situated in amongst the old traditional shrines n temples of Kyoto, surprisingly no Japanese food selection for BF n normal lunch or dinner in the hotel. A major let down. A point to ponder is it worth the 2nd visit.

The hotel was exceptional. The staff could not do enough. The room was modern, spotless and the view over the garden and temple were fabulous. The amenities were fantastic. The location for us was great-there was the 203 bus stop directly outside that took us to pretty much everywhere. An amazing stay and we would definitely stay again!!
Nothing!! Perfect!
