View from the balcony room for the last five nights
The room initially allotted to us for our first night was very depressing contrary to what was told to us at the check-in desk.

The house keeping did good job every occasion. Good bed and pillows. The doorman gave us always great service.
Breakfast was poor. We stayed more than 10 days and we found that the menu was same every single day.
And the taste of dishes were not so great. Each dood booth had more than 2 stuff and not so friendly.
We stayed Okura Kyoto and Tokyo, Imperial Tokyo, Chinzanso Tokyo and Kyoto Higashiyama hotel and they were much better than this hotel even though we paid almost same amount of money.
There were totally no gift shop or original bakery-cake shop at all. Why not?
That was so inconvenient for us.
