Beautiful, position on loch Lomond perfect. Made to feel very welcome especially by the manageress of the tavern. Could not do enough for us. Champagne for our room lovely surprise and glass of champagne with our meal at la vista.
No book in room explaining area/facilities/breakfast times. No luggage in room which they promised would be there and the concierge promised to collect us from la vista after meal if we asked la vista to phone them. First no answer , then said couldn't as 25 people had arrived. When we walked back there was no concierge or customers anywhere! In the morning we felt that the concierge only "did true customer service" IF you covered their palm with "silver" Very condescending, the older concierge on day we arrived and the older one on day we left! Not good enough, when you are the customer! All other staff brilliant.
