Centrally located in Gion. Clean and modern. Staff was helpful despite my lack of understanding any Japanese. They were patient. They helped me arrange my luggage transfer to Tokyo.
Lobby was a little dark and not as inviting for lounging and lobby bar hours seemed to close early. Breakfast was a little sparse despite having Japanese and Western options. But it was tasty.

The hotel staff was excellent. We were very excited about our stay. Room was clean and comfortable. We have a nice view from our apartment. It was very convenient that the hotel provides a shuttle service to and from Kyoto Station. We used it several times during our stay, and it made getting around much easier.
The breakfasts are monotonous, and nothing has changed over the past four days, which is a little disappointing. Also, the room doors have some play in them, so whenever the neighbors close their doors, ours bangs loudly as well. This creates a sharp noise, especially in the morning when you’re trying to sleep, and it was quite disturbing.

Very clean and nice hotel. The free shuttle service is so nice. The footbath is great. The breakfast was excellent.

Staff friendly, clean hotel and decent size room
Facilities weren’t available, such as gym and laundry; which is one of the main reasons we booked this spot.
