Die Hacienda Santa Ana Lodging in Guamote bietet einen insgesamt sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Die Lage ist besonders ruhig und idyllisch – perfekt, um die Andenlandschaft zu genießen und zur Ruhe zu kommen. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend, vielfältig und im Preis enthalten, was einen perfekten Start in den Tag garantiert. Das Personal zeichnet sich durch außergewöhnliche Freundlichkeit, Aufmerksamkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft aus; sie gehen wirklich auf individuelle Wünsche ein und tragen maßgeblich zum Wohlfühlgefühl bei.
Einziges kleines Manko sind die Zimmer, die je nach Wetterbedingung etwas feucht sein können – insbesondere in den regenreicheren Monaten sollte man darauf vorbereitet sein. Trotz dieses Punktes überwiegen die positiven Eindrücke deutlich, und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut.

Beautiful stylish hacienda, almost looking like a museum, doubleroom comfortable, some animals around, nice garden
some steps down from bed to bathroom not suited for everybody; lodge is far away from village, so when they asked us via Whatsapp, if we would like dinner for USD 12, we said yes. We never saw any price list. Soup and chicken were ok, for dessert (we did not order it) they served canned peach -in Ecuador! Breakfast was ok as well, we asked for a 2nd slice of toast. The irritation started at checkout, when we looked at the invoice: 5USD for canned peach, 5 USD for 0.33l Club (the 2nd highest price we paid in Ecuador was 3 USD) , and 2 USD FOR 1 slice of toast. We paid, while I thought, that the ultra young jefa has to learn a lot, if she wants to stay in business for the long run.
