Great place, home is very comfortable - well stocked, clean and comfy beds and pillows. Location is great, and amenities of community are phenomenal - watched the sunset each night from what felt like a tropical paradise. Golf cart was perfect for getting around the community. Can’t recommend enough - thanks for a great stay!

Quick stay between our week in Key West and headed back to Ft Lauderdale airport. Nice location. Note—townhouse —several flights of stairs—one bedroom is on the lower level. Owners very responsive and accommodating. Will keep on our list to use again for our next visit to the Keys.

Excellent location, great restaurants close by. Enjoyed the accessibility of the beach and pools. The home was equipped with more than what we needed. Been doing VRBO for years, and this by far has been the best. Very clean!

We had everything we needed. Water bug in basement and many ants seen in am after making dinner nite before. dishes done but they found some bread crumbs. Appeared to come from basement so glad 4th guest who would have slept there could not make it. Location was perfect. Couple light bulbs out. Recommend after exterminator visits,

Great layout for 3 couples, 3 full bathrooms (showers) come in handy after a day of diving. Lots of TVs (5) so football didn’t get missed, the giant screen in the 1st level family room was a fun place to gather. Property manager Diane was responsive and a pleasure to work with - check in smooth & the place was very clean

This is the 2nd time we've stayed in the Kawama Yacht Club complex - it's close to the activities at Pennekamp State Park, and convenient to the amenities and restaurants on Key Largo. This apartment has 4 comfortable bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms (smallish) on 3 floors. Well equipped kitchen, multiple TVs, three balconies. The interior staircases are steep. Taking the golf cart out to the point each evening for sunset was a particular treat. Our grandkids took the kayaks that were provided into the the lagoon that runs through the complex, and also enjoyed snorkeling there to see the resident fish and lobster. There is a nice little beach on the edge of the lagoon, and two pools. Very nice place.

the space is great, especially if you have multiple families since the first floor is basically a whol suite. Lots of space, clean, accurate to listing (better really!), and the pool area is so perfect especially if you have kids that love to swim. Great location and smooth communication and check in. Definitely would stay again!

Pickleball courts were awful. No hot tub pool was nice. Very steep staircases inside unit. Overall nice place.

The layout of the facility is great if you have kids or another couple you are traveling with. Lots of space and with 3 levels it give everyone quiet space when they need it. Pool is right outside the patio and the beach/lagoon is also just a short walk. Very beautiful extension off the edge of the property gives you great sunrises. Overall a great experience and we will keep it on our list for future trips.

Nice place. Enjoyed the walking paths behind the property.

Quiet community but the units feel pocketed enough that you dont feel like you are disturbing neighbors. Easy commute to most of the top half of the keys.

House was spacious and clean and had all the amenities we needed. Location was quiet and convenient to everything in key largo. the golf cart was a fun touch. Taking it to the end of the break water to watch the sunset was a very nice way to unwind after a long day

Fun Time!
The location was great, right near the salt water lagoon and pool. There was another pool on the property that was a bit warmer than the pool nearest the unit. We did have one child have a reaction, contact dermatitis, to the algae growth that was on the platform in the salt water lagoon. Recommend any time in the salt water to wear a long sleeve swim shirt. The unit has a lot of amenities not necessarily listed on the site, including coolers and life jackets for use. If you are looking for a snorkeling trip, recommend renting a private charter boat out of the nearby Marina. Overall experience was great! Would come to this unit again.

Great week in Key Largo!
So many things to do at the condo and in Key Largo. Roomy condo right next to beautiful pool and lagoon. There are tennis courts (we bought some tennis balls and used the condo tennis rackets), drove golf cart to the jetty and 2nd pool, snorkeled in the lagoon with huge fish.
TV in every room, lots of books and porches. Great place and reasonably priced!

VRBO Review
BAD
1. Extreme Light Bleed Upstairs
a. The curtains have actually been updated since the pictures were taken. However, they are decorative/fancy curtains that don’t really block even the street light at night.
b. Other reviewers are likely reviewing their stay in the master room. The master is less extreme, but it is very obvious. The curtains are all the same decorative style, which functionally do not work well for bedrooms.
c. NOTE: I am not a human that believes in eye mask usage. I have never needed one in the past. However, if you stay here, every adult upstairs will likely need one (if sleeping past 6:30am on vacation is desired).
NEUTRAL
1. Noise
a. BAD: We noticed a baby crying in the bordering town house the last day.
b. GOOD: We did not notice the previous review of having the gate slam all night.
2. Golf Cart
a. We had a mechanic with us that owns a golf cart. We didn’t need our mechanic to tell us that an electric cart that can barely play a single hole of golf or go up a 3% slope (in the form of speed bumps) is in need of a new battery or motor service.
b. However, it is just enough to get you to the pier and back and definitely worth having and useful.
3. Sand Found on Guest Floor
a. A few cleaning spots were missed. Sand or cat litter stuck to our feet in 2nd room upstairs.
b. Weird, because there were “sanitary” seals on the toilets.
GOOD
1. Overall, Very Nice Town House
a. For anything other than sleeping this is a nice place. Has everything you need for cooking, entertainment, close to activities, full cable TV subscription, wifi, etc.
2. Kawama Activities
a. Complimentary Activities: Pretty fun to be able to grab kayaks or not really have to drive to have some activities
b. Snorkeling: use the pier to launch, because the “beach” area is somewhat smelly. You can easily see much wildlife without going very far. We saw a large ray, lobster, about every fish an outsider can name.
3. Easy check in
a. Since I have been harsh above, I will rebut other’s reviews. The check in process was flawless. Check in with the guard, and use the code on the door. Very easy, even as we arrived late.

Great Place If Actual Curtains Are Added (3.9/5 stars)

This condo is next to the gatehouse which is fine with the exception of the tire spikes that make noise every time someone exit’s the property. Condo had ample space and interior amenities but I had to call the owner to get access as it was not provided in advance. The code provided was also wrong though we finally figured out what it was. The only other thing that wasn’t great was the retched smell of rotting fish on the way to the point, I think they just need to clean out the seaweed stuck against the jetty to fix that. Overall it wasn’t bad, a few minor improvements and not having to call to get the check in info and I would have rated it higher.

Family Wedding
Overall, we enjoyed the property. There were no screens in the bathrooms and since there are no exhaust fans you had to open the window. Pests could get in. The golf cart could use some improvements.

Great location!
We loved the condo’s location! The condo is set inside the Kawama Club which gives you many amenities like pools, lagoon, walking paths. We also had a golf cart which was fun to take to see the ocean! The condo was within walking distance of a few restaurants as well as marina for some fresh seafood and diving excursions. The condo was plenty big for 3 couples, lots of space to gather. Diane was VERY responsive which we appreciated. The only negative is all the beds were rather hard. I also wish there was a king bed in master. While it wasn’t a deal breaker for us, would have been nice. Otherwise, I highly recommend this property!
