In other words, it is in “the heart of Ocean Beach” which is known for its more casual beach lifestyle. This studio has a queen bed and a full bath with a large walk-in shower, a seating area, and a great work space nook, as well as a kitchen with a refrigerator, a gas stove and oven, a sink, a microwave, and a coffee maker. Its private patio is a great place to enjoy morning coffee, or an evening libation after your day’s adventures. Great sun exposure in this quaint patio for you and your loved one(s)! Additional amenities include a portable heater and air conditioner, and WIFI and cable, as well as 1 driveway parking space. The maximum number of people who can stay in this studio is 2. THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THIS HOME: Easy Check-in: Keypad door lock to your studio makes check-in easy at any time of the day after 4pm. Your personal code will be provided on the day of arrival. This studio is part of a duplex, and shares a wall with another tenant. There are clear designations for each rental. Maximum occupancy is 2 individuals. Please note: The airport is centrally located in the city; therefore, you will hear airplanes when visiting San Diego. Flights begin around 6:30am and stop around 11pm. This may be bothersome for some people but most of my guests have said it is not an issue. Earplugs are provided as a courtesy. A portable air conditioner and heater are provided. This home is in a quiet neighborhood and is only suitable for quieter groups. Our rental agreement includes a no tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy and/or parties. Deposit forfeitures and/or evictions are strictly enforced. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting with Vacasa Seasonals, Inc. This unit is managed by Vacasa Seasonals Inc. and may require a Security Deposit. DRE: 02160171' Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. We LOVED the location and the patio. If you like Ocean Beach this is a great location to be in. But - there were a number of things that weren't necessarily as pictured. It was dull and could easily have been brightened up by adding some colour in the decor - bed coverings, rug under the table on the patio. We had no umbrella over the table, the rug was beige/grey and dark and the patio needed a good sweeping (which we did). Inside was definitely clean, but the light over the bed needed replacing and the sink outside the bathroom had a broken tap, making it hard to use. We still very much enjoyed our stay. I feel that the presentation was lacking and that it could have easily been made beachy bright with very little cost and effort.

Checked in on 6/16 and was pleased with the place. On the 17th went out for the day. Returned at 6:00 to a horrific, rotten egg smell, so bad I couldn’t stay for any length of time. Called SDG&E to verify it wasn't a gas leak. Called the mgmt co., Vacasa, to investigate. SDG&E showed up in 20 minutes. It turned out it was sewer. Vacasa rep still hadn’t arrived by 7:15 PM so I told them I was leaving for dinner. Was told they would find me another place to stay. I called at least 4 times throughout the evening to see what was happening and where I was supposed to go. At 11:30 was told they had no idea how long the problem would last, couldn’t find alternate accommodations and I’d have to go to a hotel! The rental was $145/night. Hotels in the area are $350/per night plus. Additional cost of a hotel for the balance of my trip would have been $800 plus taxes. Vacasa told me they would only reimburse me for Thursday night and would not pick up the additional cost of the hotel. At midnight, I went back to the apt, got my things and I ended up sleeping on the floor in my daughter’s apt. Friday, tried several times to get more information from Vacasa. They finally got back to me at 4:00 and told me I could go back if I wanted. The balance of my stay was good, but I lost 24 hours. The reps were very unresponsive, and only credited me $110. Definitely WILL NOT stay at another property that these people manage.

Close to the Beach and Newport Ave. Clean , comfortable lodging w private patio. Well furnished kitchen, with stovetop, oven, microwave, coffee maker and fridge. Plenty of silverware plates, drinkware, etc. Nice towels and linens. Easy entry, even has a parking space.

The location was perfect and the air conditioner white noise blocked all of the airplane noise which was perfect. The apartment was very clean. The super soft, caved-in mattress was terrible though. I gave a star back because we called the management company about it and they sent a brand new air mattress and sheet set right away (on a Sunday too!), so we were able to get some sleep the rest of the trip without sore backs ruining the whole thing! Kudos to them.

It matched perfectly with our needs. Very comfortable, great location and management. Most important is that is has it's own parking spot and if you've ever stayed in OB, that means a lot!
