Adjacent to the Sanctuary complex is the Fishing Pier at Little Island Park, which also includes a children's playground, covered picnic tables, basketball, pickleball, and tennis courts. Down the road, you can explore Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge, which adds nine miles of natural beach, including biking and hiking trails. Within a short drive, you can find additional local Sandbridge restaurants, shops, and a grocery store (try the freshly baked donuts). Access to Virginia Beach's restaurants, shops, craft breweries, and famous boardwalk is only a short drive away. Enjoy the nightlife but then escape back to Sandbridge's relaxing and beautiful community. A convenient storage closet, located in the parking garage, is available to use with two beach bikes, beach chairs, sand toys, boogie boards, and more. No need to bring the wet beach gear upstairs! This second-floor condo is just steps away from the water and features new luxury vinyl flooring installed in 2023. Walk out on your private balcony with a cup of coffee and soak in views of the Atlantic Ocean and Back Bay's glimmering waters. Try some of the local restaurants in the area, including Jose Tequilas, which is on-site, or enjoy a home-cooked meal using the well-equipped kitchen complete with modern appliances, including a toaster oven, 12-pot coffee maker, and a Keurig. There's an abundance of entertainment both inside and outside the condo, with three swimming pools, a cabana bar, Viking gas grills on the property, a new 65-inch TV and sectional waiting back at home in the living room, and TVs in each of the bedrooms with an expanded cable package with 30 premium movie channels. With plenty of seating, gather to play board games or watch a movie on one of the DVD players at night. After a long day of bodysurfing in the ocean waves, you can retreat to one of the bedrooms decorated with a coastal theme, all equipped with TVs and plenty of drawer and closet space. Or maybe you prefer to kick back with a puzzle or a good book - the entertainment options are endless. You'll love making memories at A Wave From It All. Things to Know The community pool is open annually from mid-May to mid-September for guest use. Pool dates are weather permitting and at the Condo Association's discretion. This property is managed by Vacasa Virginia LLC. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. The condo was very clean and as nice as the pictures. Beautiful place to chill (no pun intended) for a weekend. Vacasa was extremely responsive to the one issue we had (hot water! Vacasa got someone out immediately and fixed it). It was a lovely, comfortable stay and we strongly recommend.

The condo was spacious, ocean front and well stocked for basic needs. Linen package was included and plenty of bundles of linen were available. I saw some less than favorable reviews on another site after I had already booked and was a little worried. Not sure about the amenities because I visited in September but the pools and grills looked to be in good condition. I definitely plan to rent again.

The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for a family of 6 to cook our meals for 4 days. The house was clean. The beds were comfortable. The balcony had lots of spiderwebs but nothing we couldn't deal with. Our kids all wanted to move in. It was more spacious than I thought it would be. You can see a little of the ocean and the bay from the balcony and it was fun to sit out there. The washer and dryer worked well and it was really nice to have those in the condo. There was a few cleaning things for sweeping up all the sand that you're sure to bring in off the beach. We hope to book this space again next year!

My family and I stayed a week at this condo. Pros: the beach access is great and close, condo had everything we needed, plenty of space, loved Sandbridge, beach is not too crowded. Cons: internet and service was spotty, condo could have been cleaner - dust in rooms - outside balcony was very dirty, didn’t know where to find our storage room to get beach equipment, wandered around forever and then once we found it, didn’t have a key. Took hours to get the key from Vacasa. They called three days later to see if we ever gained access. Vacasa responded very slow to our inquiries. This condo claimed there was umbrellas in the storage-there was one and it wouldn’t stay in the sand so had to rent umbrellas. Pool on our side of the condo was not open all week. Working grills were hard to find.

This condo was very well maintained and clean. The kitchen was stocked with pots and pans and basically anything you needed. The pool was well taken care of the parking was in a garage which kept the heat out of your car.

I would rent a unit that faces the sun. The condo was dark and damp, not inviting if you have asthma or arthritis. No walk in shower, had to go to building A for a shower. Noise level of workers were high in the afternoon,

I love the condo it was plenty big only five of us ended up staying there so we had a lot of spaceUp staying there I did not like the way they clean we had a lot of dirty woodwork lotta dirty doors the top of the tables were clean all around the sides were dirty but all in all it was pretty nice Other than it could’ve been a lot cleaner I would definitely rented again

We’ve stayed at the Sanctuary many times over the years; this is our first time in this condo. We appreciated that we could see both the ocean and the bay (sunset!) from the nicely sized deck. The kitchen had everything we needed, though we mostly ate out at some of the many great locally owned restaurants. The unit was clean, as well as tidy/uncluttered. It was a great trip, and exactly what we needed. Thanks!

This condo was convenient to the beach and the pool. We were disappointed that the larger pool was closed for maintenance but the smaller one was fine for us. We suggest better frying pans but otherwise we had everything we needed.

We booked this property because there was a pool as well as the ocean. The day before we checked in, we were told that the pool wasn't ready (even though listing said mid May) and neither were the BBQ facilities. Rather than cancel, two separate Vascasa representivies -- Rennee and Hannah -- told me they could give me a credit of $75 per night. I checked in 4 times during our stay re: status. I was told "in process." Nearly 3 weeks later, I was told there was no record of any request. One helpful agent finally agreed to credit me $150 for the stay, since the pool and BBQs are still out. The time and stress this caused soured the experience.
