About this house rental
Nestled in Galveston Island, this charming house for $508 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Enjoy and relax at Alamo Sea! Escape to our newly built 4 BR/3.5BA house and is just a short walk to the beach. Enjoy sitting on the deck while enjoying the views of the bay and the gulf. Pointe West has a lot of amenities to offer including the beach club pool and the heated sunset pool with a lazy river and hot tub. They are both open 365 days a year and boast beautiful views of the ocean and the bay. The space We use our house personally and want to make our home yours while you visit. We have all of the items you will need to cook a nice meal and entertain including spices and basic cooking ingredients. We have a charcoal grill, smart tv and table on the ground floor. Basic cable is in the living room and game room with an additional three smart televisions. We have plenty of games, toys, beach cart, beach towels, beach chairs and beach canopy. We have a pack’n’play and portable highchair. We are also able to recommend where to rent golf carts, kayaks, and bikes as well as restaurants in close proximity to our house. We have a house manager who lives on the island. If you happen to be up for a fun filled day trip then downtown Galveston is only thirty minutes away. Galveston offers an endless array of attractions including Moody Gardens and the Pleasure Pier. For the adults in the group the Strand Historic District offers plenty of night life and entertainment. A boat launch is available across the bridge at the San Luis Pass County Park. Use is free and it is available 24/7. The launch is only ten minutes away. A $2 toll is required to cross bridge. Guests who wish to use the Pointe West amenities must register with the Beach Club PRIOR TO ARRIVAL and pay a resort fee of $25 per guest over the age of 5. Upon arrival at the Beach Club, wrist bands and a gate code will be provided which provide access for the duration of your stay. The Sunset Pool will be heated as of March 2021. The Beach Club swimming pool is not heated and may be too cold to use during the fall and winter months depending on the weather. Due to circumstances out of our control pools may not be always available. We are not responsible if they are not available during your stay, but we will do our best to communicate if the pool is closed during your stay. A fee of $25 will be charged to replace a lost wrist band. Vehicle traffic is prohibited on this part of the beach. License number GVR-08412 We have outside security cameras on the driveway, grill area and front door. They will be on when motion is detected.

We love this house - the setup with 2 masters and 2 bunk bed rooms works perfectly for my sister and I to bring our families. The house is well stocked across the board - kitchen, towels, and beach equipment. The house was well cleaned and put together nicely. The individual I worked with was very responsive and responsible. I didn’t have any worries. Thank you so much and we hope to come back soon!

We had stayed in this home a few years ago, so when we saw the available listing, we knew it would work well for our multi-family group with young children. The house is clean and well-equipped with everything you might need for a group with kids, including baby gate, beach toys, high chairs, etc., not to mention all the kitchen supplies, linens, soaps, and other amenities you need for a group. Kerri was communicative and proactive ahead of our trip, which was so appreciated too. While the kitchen area is a little tight, and a second downstairs refrigerator would be great for the number of people the house sleeps, overall this is a great house with thoughtful owners. Thank you!

Amazingly beautiful home. Very new, clean and comfortable. Communication with home owner was excellent. Everything you may need is there. Coffee, coffee maker, sugar, laundry detergent etc… two master bedrooms was a big plus!

We had such a wonderful experience with this property! The owner contacted us with instructions and "what to do" around the property. The property is small but cozy. Love the second master upstairs! It helped out with the kids! It's close to the ocean. We enjoyed this place very much!

We stayed for my son's High School Prom. The house was perfect for teenagers with the upstairs space. Love that the home was stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, soap, spices etc. That was a nice feature. Also access to the beach gear was very convenient.

This is a beautiful home, the host was great to talk with and ask questions. We went for a youth confirmation retreat which isn't really relaxing haha, but the area is very quiet and pleasant, great view out the living room window and a short walk to the beach.

We needed a Girls Weekend so why not Galveston! The house was beautiful!! It was within walking distance to the beach where it was not crowded, all the extra items we needed, great scenary, and having access to the Clubehouse, Bar/Restaurant, Pools and Lazy River was the best! Would highly recommend to stay and will come back!

Kerri was a fantastic host. Everything was just as described in the listing. We had a great time at the house and the Beach Clubs (both less than a 2 minute drive). The beach wasnt crowded at all and it was incredibly clean! Definitely recommend!

The homeowner has done a wonderful job of anticipating the needs of their guests. If we stay again (which I definitely would!) we wouldn’t need to bring ANYTHING for the beach. They have any beach toy/accessory you could ever think of: sand toys, boogie boards, tent, wagons, chairs, coolers, etc. The kitchen was also well stocked with utensils and the home was roomy enough for our extended family to fit without being crowded. The kids loved TVs in their rooms and having bunk beds. There was an issue with the refrigerator during our stay, but the owner responded IMMEDIATELY to resolve the issue above and beyond my expectations. If you have young children (under 5) I would suggest renting a golf cart to drop them off at the beach, otherwise you really wouldn’t need one as the distance is certainly walkable for teens/adults.

Beautiful home in a beautiful location!
If you're looking at this home and it's available, book now! You will not be disappointed. This home is absolutely beautiful. The floor plan is spacious and there is additional space (in the shade) in the garage area. I love that there is a second King suite. I also enjoyed the front and side porches.
The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed from pots and pans to utensils, etc. It even has food storage containers (which so many rentals don't so that was a pleasant surprise).
The walk to the beach didn't take long and I was also pleasantly surprised with their large collection of beach toys, chairs, shade canopy and wagon. The beach area is less crowded than other areas of the beach. We would look to either side and see crowds but hardly anyone was in our area.
The owner was easy to reach out to and answered our questions quickly.
We hope to return next summer!

This was our first time going to the Galveston area and renting a beach house. The experience was wonderful and super easy. This house is beautiful, well maintained and had so many extras available like toys, it may our stay so nice, especially with young children. I’m hoping we can make this a yearly tradition and would love to stay again!

We enjoyed our stay in this wonderful home. The location was prefect, it was near the beach and close to the beach club. The home was extremely clean and our kids loved riding their bikes in the neighborhood. I even caught a fish in the pond located behind the house? We are looking forward to renting this home again.
