With ample room for 30 guests, Dalarna provides charm and elegance and will enchant you with the spacious verandas, comfortable porch swings and the unhurried pace of the beach house lifestyle. Dalarna has a versatile floor plan with a great room on the beach level that features a living room, mini kitchen, porch swing and of course a door that opens to a boardwalk to the sea! The main level offers dining capacity for 30 and, naturally, a kitchen that is up to the task, as well as an expansive veranda with an unforgettable view of the Gulf. The day starts early down on the coast and with 10 king beds (as well as two twins and three sets of bunk beds), all will start the day refreshed and ready to enjoy all that Nordic Villas has to offer. 12 bathrooms and two full sized washers and dryers assure that whether your plans include a wedding, a retreat, or a get together of family or friends, your stay will be memorable and comfortable. The Nordic Villas cluster is a private, gated community of seven homes (eight units total), featuring two private pools, four large charcoal grills with seating areas and a gas fire pit, generous parking areas, carefully maintained grounds and plantings, and boardwalks from all homes to the beach. Each pool includes a large lounge area with plenty of seating. Leave the crowds behind and come enjoy this Orange Beach vacation oasis! Nordic Villas is the perfect location for family reunions, weddings, team and company retreats, or just friends and family looking for the peace and privacy of large beach homes. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. Cancellation for this property must be 90 days prior to arrival Parking notes: There is free parking available for 12 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. We had 6 wonderful days with family and friends. The house is spacious and loved that each of the 12 couples had their own room and bathroom. The view is amazing and it was easy to access the beach.

House is a great size but is in need of several repairs. Dryer on main floor did not work. Ice maker on bottom floor did not work. Bathroom switch on bottom floor did not work (had dropped inside of wall) so the person in that room had to shower in the dark every day. Doors on the balcony were warped and did not come together well. Called/texted Vacasa multiple times and only got a repair person to look at the ice machine on the last day of our stay.

The beach view was fabulous. Very roomy house. Great for our group of a dozen senior golfers. Could use some additional pots and pans and a couple sets of steak knives. It sounds like the motor on the second floor dryer is going out. Might want to check that out.

Dalarna was absolutely wonderful in every way. Plenty of space for the whole gang and right on the beach that everyone took advantage of sun, sand, and ocean. Ample kitchen and dining areas for big family meals. Loved having an ice maker for chilling our favorite beverages.

Beachfront and pool access with quick car access to restaurants and entertainment are the perks here plus a working elevator in the home! We had ten adults and ten children between newborn - 17 years and the rooms and beds were plentiful.
The cleanliness is ghastly. I’ll post pics here if I can figure out how. Mold in windows and doorways; drips of food/drink in kitchen; garbage can with food/crumbs upon check-in; dirty dishes in cabinets and on shelves; food and wrappers in couch cushions; parts of 3-4 coffee pots but no complete set. We purchased two 12-cup makers and left them. For a home that sleeps 30 and costs more than $12,000 we expected to have bowls in the kitchen. There weren’t any. Light bulbs that were out were changed within 24 hours but the request to have the utility closet locked (with paint and other maintenance supplies)…since we had small children in the home…was unanswered. Carpet could stand to be replaced but cleaning it would be a good start.
Grateful to have family under one roof from
four states to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary but disappointed in the cleaning we had to do on our once in a lifetime vacation.

The house was a perfect size for our group. Parking was not a problem and the pool was a great amenity.
We had problems with air conditioning and ice makers but maintenance quickly took care of the problems.

Our family of 26 loved staying at this house! The eating area was large enough for everyone and each couple had their own room with bathroom and a bunk room for the kids. It was awesome to be right on the beach and yet not so close that we had to worry about the little ones wandering out by themselves. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

The house was perfect for all of our needs. We had one issue with a faucet in one of the bathrooms and it was repaired the same day we called to report it. Look forward to coming back again next fall.

This house was perfect for our large group of 27 (23 adults, 4 children). Beds were very comfortable. Some of the bedrooms were large enough to easily add travel cribs or air mattresses for children. Each bedroom had its own bath, plus there was a half bath on the 2nd floor (main gathering area). There were multiple ice machines, washers and dryers, and refrigerators. The kitchen has two dishwashers, two large refridgerators, and a large stove. The main area included seating at the counter, 2 large tables, and 1 smaller table--perfect for meals and games. There is also lots of room for sitting and visiting. The balcony on this floor let visitors enjoy sunrises and sunsets, dolphins, pelicans, dunes, and seaoats. The lower level had another large table and large sitting area. It was a direct walk onto the beach. An outdoor shower and hose took care of the sand before you came inside. The elevator came in handy for children and older adults. Dalarna was great for enjoying this beautiful area! We hope to make a return visit!

A group of us came down for our yearly fishing trip and vacation. The house was as advertised except the pictures showed a pool table which was not there when we arrived. That was disappointing as we were looking forward to playing. The location is great and the beach was fantastic. The décor is a little dated but acceptable. The air conditioner in the rooms on the first floor were not working great but not bad for the time of the year. There is plenty of room and the multiple dishwashers, ice machines, and refrigerators really helped although a second oven would have been great. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again.

We all had a wonderful week at this beautiful home!! We had all we could want and more!!! We feel so blessed to have the privilege to stay here. So much room for our family and literally just steps from the beach! Beautiful views!! A great location!! We would love to stay here again!!

We had a group of 23 people (including 5 kids age 3&under) and the house couldn’t have been more perfect! Everything was exactly as described in the pictures and a wonderful time was had by all. There were a few minors things noticed when we arrived (nothing major that affected our stay much) but after contacting management someone was out the next day to inquire about the issues. We had such a great we are already looking forward to the next trip.

Loved the size of the house. Didn't like the dune we had to go over to get to the ocean. Hard to climb back up to get to the house. Loved the elevator. Beautiful views from the 2nd and 3rd floors. Low water pressure in the bathrooms and outside faucets. Washers and dryers need updated. Took forever to wash and dry towels/clothes. Loved the 2 ice makers. Wasn't very pleased with the price compared to other houses we've stayed at.

The Dalarna house is our favorite and have stayed there for 17 years. It had needed to be refreshed and under Vacasa they have done a wonderful job. We needed maintenance one evening and they were there to fix the problem in minutes. Have booked for 2023.
