Stay close to all the adventures that Steamboat has to offer by renting this 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo at the Villas at Walton Creek. This beautiful mountain-side property features a heated garage, large dining area, an in-unit washer and dryer and is located right next to the complex's hot tub and playground. Spread out and relax in the spacious living room where you can either cozy up in front of the fireplace or catch up on some of your favorite television programs. Stocked with everything you need for a gourmet meal, whip up a delicious meal in the large kitchen and adjacent dining area. No need to find the nearest laundromat if you spill a drink on your favorite shirt or just need to do a round of laundry. Toss a load in the washer and dryer while you enjoy all the other amenities available with this unit. The master bedroom features a queen bed, large bathroom, ample closet space, and access to a private patio. The patio sits on the edge of a massive grass lawn, shared and maintained by the entire complex. Grab a frisbee or blanket to enjoy some nature while staying within the comfort zone of your home. The second bedroom features two twin beds, a spacious closet, and shares access to the full bathroom directly outside of the door. Once you're finished skiing, hiking, biking, or just walking through town, soak your bones in the spa, located steps outside of your back porch, before settling into your unit for the night. If you have children with you, simply walk them outside the side door and you will find a full playground for them to enjoy whenever they need to burn off some extra energy. Looking to spend the day downtown, or at the resort, but don't want to worry about driving or parking? Worry not! The nearest city bus stop is just a 2-minute walk and provides easy access to the ski area as well as any downtown restaurants or attractions. Remember to check the current bus schedule if you decide to stay out late in town. If you miss the last bus, Steamboat does have private shuttle options as well as a limited number of Uber and Lyft drivers. NOTICE: For Holiday Reservations check-in is 5 PM. We booked this unit for a weekend ski trip at Steamboat. It's very close to the bus stop, so getting to and from the mountain was super easy! The unit was tidy, but we were very disappointed by the overall cleanliness. In particular, the floor was incredibly dirty (to the point of being sticky). Our socks were brown on the bottom from just walking around the unit. We had all taken our shoes off at the door, so it definitely wasn't from us. You are expected to strip the beds, take out the trash, etc. upon checkout (and still pay a steep cleaning fee), so it really should have been clean. The hot tub access was a nice bonus. Overall, the location is great, and the unit is comfortable and tidy, but it wasn't very clean.

Property was wonderful! Has a great location to access everything in town! Very close to the bus stop for easy transportation to around town! The condo was very clean and roomy, loved that we could use a hot tub and heated garage! Overall, very nice for the price! Would definitely stay here again 100%!

Nice 1st floor unit with plenty of room for 4 people. Garage is heated which kept our ski boots warm. This unit had quite a bit of kitchen essentials like spices, coffee, etc. Also brand new washer/dryer combo and detergent. We enjoyed this quiet setting after a long day on the slopes and it was a short walk to grab a shuttle to the hill.

Great location, across the street from bus line to mountain (5 minute walk with gear). Condo was roomy, well-stocked with kitchen necessities, and with great first-floor access (no stairs is nice for tired after-skiing legs!). Open living/dining/kitchen allowed the family to be together in the afternoons/evenings while hanging out. Heated garage and ability to park inside made mornings nicer while getting things ready for the day. Would definitely stay again!

The place was simple and clean. Had the basics. Ceilings are a bit low and the lighting is really harsh, but find for a short stay where you’re not planning to hang out in the house too much. The place could do with more rugs, lamps and other aspects to make it feel less sterile.

Five stars because the property was sparking clean, easy to check-in/out and the location was perfect for us. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. The washer and dryer were very handy. We took the free bus back and forth to the mountain everyday. It is so easy! We never waited more then 5 mins. Two grocery stores are within a quick drive or I guess you can take the bus. We did not use the hot tub but we saw it is well cared for. We loved having a heated garage for our ski stuff and the car. Just a suggestion to the owners, you need more lamps/lighting. One lamp in the master bedroom is not enough. We were in the property mostly after dark and I kept wanting to turn on lights but there were none. You could also use more sitting in the living room. I have two teen boys that like to watch football and we had to pull over kitchen chairs if we all wanted to sit in the living room at the same time. Not cozy just dark.

We had a great stay! The location can't be beat. It's an easy 15 minute walk to the gondola. Hot tub right outside the living room door for after skiing. Quiet neighborhood with a playground our toddler loved to play on. Can't wait to visit here again.
