Located in the Steamboat base area, it's just minutes from world-class skiing, hiking & biking and still less than 3 miles from quaint downtown Steamboat Springs. Spend your day outdoors but come back to the convenience of hot tubs, heated pool (summer), high speed WIFI, wireless stereo, washer/dryer, and one-car heated garage. The open floor plan on the main level allows for great conversation across the kitchen, dining, and living areas. Enjoy an evening on the balcony or stay indoors and snuggle by the warm fire. The large living room has gas fireplace, flatscreen TV, vaulted ceilings and an outdoor deck framing the beautiful Yampa Valley! The kitchen is well equipped with lots of counter space, a "community cupboard" where the owners and renters share spices and condiments, as well as counter seating for 4 at the bar. Upstairs, the master suite features a king bed, flatscreen TV, attached bathroom with double vanity, jacuzzi, and walk-in shower. The loft work-area has a desk and printer. Check out the sharing library and a huge selection of board and card games. Downstairs, the second bedroom features a queen bed, flatscreen TV, and attached bathroom. The third bedroom features a twin over double bunk bed, flatscreen TV, and a dedicated bathroom across the hall. The heated garage has plenty of room to store skis and snowboards in the winter or bikes and golf clubs in the summer. Relax those sore muscles after a long day on the mountain in the spa located steps from your front door or start your morning during the summer months with laps in the pool. The Moraine has a seasonally heated swimming pool with a stellar view of the valley, open from the end of May to the end of October. The two large hot tubs are open year-round from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m, with heated changing rooms. To get to the slopes you can pull the car out of the heated garage and drop the skiers off in just 2 minutes. Or the city bus picks you up at the entrance to the townhomes which is a 2-minute walk. This is a great space for a larger group. Very convenient to everything and easy/quick bus route. We will stay here again!

Overall, the stay and location was great. I did learn an important lesson about properties in Steamboat lacking air conditioning… in any way, shape or form. Fans in every room, all windows open, but man it still got unpleasant at times! The only things that weren’t up to par were a very slow toilet upstairs, and two receptacles in the main bedroom that didn’t work. Other than that, all was great!

This property was close enough to resort to be convenient but not as costly as ski in/ski out. The condo had decent sized shared space and the bedrooms were all large enough for sleeping/getting ready. The kitchen was well equipped and the dining area was large enough for the 6 of us. Having the garage space for one of our SUV’s and full sized washer/dryer in unit was a nice plus! We would stay here again.
