The entrance area to the front door is treacherous and needs some big attention. Very uneven big rocks & washed out gravel. Whole outside area needs attention - lots of overgrown bushes - paint peeling off siding. Icemaker in refrig not working - we got a bag of ice. Need a new stove - the lights warning of hot surface never go off even when burners are off. The beds were super comfortable and overall the cabin was very nice.

We almost canceled our booking due to poor reviews in late 2025. We are so happy we did not! There are some cosmetic issues with the house as noted in previous reviews, but they did not negatively impact our stay. The house is clean, beds are comfortable and the view is spectacular! We had an issue with the hot tub (a bear sat on the cover the previous week) and Alisa was very responsive to our messages and worked to resolve the issue so the hot tub was usable for our stay. We would absolutely rent this house again.

The location of the house is great! We really enjoyed Townsend. The views from the house were really nice. The hot tub did not work for our entire stay, which was disappointing.

It was clean, but I agree with past reviews that the maintenance has not been addressed since December of 2025. I feel that the maintenance company needs to fix the door of shower and toilet paper holder, and the right sink does not drain in the master bathroom, the entrance doors, and the deck needs fixed. We were disappointed, Wouldn’t recommend spending your vacation here until they take care of the property better. The driveway and sidewalks were also very overgrown like no one maintains it.
