This custom-built home sits on 2-acres offering beautiful Scenery while only being minutes away from all the amenities of the city. Our Modern contemporary décor will make you feel right at Home. Gather with your Family and Friends inside to take in the backyard view and sit back relax and put on the tv; Go outside and enjoy looking at our goats, chickens and Smiley the dog. The Space This Deluxe getaway home offers Keyless self-check-in and is perfectly decked with a mixture of carpet and hardwood floors, a completely equipped kitchen, lavish living room with abundant windows overlooking the most peaceful backyard you will ever see. On the main floor you will find a extravagant master bedroom with a King Bed and a Jacuzzi. As you walk up our grand stairs, you will find our second Master bedroom equipped with another King Bed. This floor has two additional rooms, one is setup with a Queen bed and the other with two twin beds (We can also provide two additional roll-out beds upon request). This gorgeous house has all the Essentials needed for your Relaxing stay. We also have a dedicated office if you need some work space and cardio machines along with a massaging chair to help you unwind. Outside you will find a pond at the front of the house and the Blue River flowing throughout the South and East side of the property. You can also see our newest addition, the Animal Barn, which is home to a number of goats, a dog for security, and over 20 different breeds of chicken. Please be aware that Smiley the dog is free to roam inside the fenced area, so make sure that children are accompanied with adults at all times inside that fenced area. Whether you like to explore outdoors or you would like to stay in, the “Getaway” will offer everyone something great. We welcome you and your family to come stay in our home and build long-lasting memories. Other Important things to note Please be Aware that there are farm animals (goats, chickens, and a dog) on the property, so expect someone to visit twice daily to take care of their essentials. In the morning, we let the goats and dog out in the fenced area, and in the evening, we return to put them back in the barn and take care of their needs. Young children should not be allowed to enter the gated area alone as the dog is free to roam there. We Do Not Accept Big Gatherings or Parties due to VRBO rules and city regulations. Please check with us beforehand to verify if your requirements fall within our parameters; if approved, any such requests will incur extra charges. We as hosts are searching for more measures to protect our guests. We protect you and your loved ones with the EnviroShield Electrostatic Disinfection System after each guest leaves. The disinfectant system is suitable for preventing or treating the spread of viruses and bacteria of all kinds. You may rest confident that the Getaway will be properly disinfected before you and your loved ones arrive. We are here at your convenience and available to provide support any time, and can accommodate all sorts of requests so please do not hesitate to ask. Beautiful home and location. Quiet, peaceful. Remote yet just minutes from Scooters and Walmart! The host was very responsive. It was the perfect venue for our adult kids and their spouses to gather for the holidays.

We absolutely loved this house, the location, the animals, and all the amenities! The owners thought of everything we might need to enjoy our stay, and then they did more. We had three generations in our group, and everyone was pleased. My mom isn’t getting around very well, so she appreciated the master on the main floor and being able to enjoy the view out of huge windows onto the park-like setting. Our college student appreciated the reliable WiFi and quiet office space when she had to take an online test shortly after she arrived. My “chef” daughter loved cooking in the spacious and bright kitchen and said that going out to get freshly laid eggs to cook was her dream! When I wasn’t relaxing in the large but cozy and comfy great room, I could be found in the massage chair on the lower level getting some knotted muscles worked out. We all loved visiting the animals who seemed so happy and well-cared for. We will definitely book this home again when we all get together again in Kansas! Thank you, Umair, for your excellent communication and making sure we had a wonderful and memorable stay.

Our family stayed at the "GETAWAY" for two nights while in town for our son's wedding at a nearby venue . The inside was just perfect with all the amenities we needed . It is spacious , comfortable and clean ! Our favorite part of our stay was being outside in pure tranquility ! We enjoyed all the different kinds of shade trees and swinging on the tree swing is just as fun as it used to be ! The nights were amazing being under the stars and taking in all the nature ! The chickens, goats and baby goat who was born during our stay on my daughter's birthday will always be remembered ! To our host " Umair " Thank you to you and your Dad for your kindness and the organic eggs ! Ps : Smiley the dog sure makes you Smile !

We loved the back yard, and we felt like we were in it when we were inside in the living room with an entire wall of windows. It is a lovely place to spend time. Each of us (three couples) had privacy, and my granddaughter had her space in a crib off the master bedroom. The place was spotless and cozy. And the nearby chickens, ducks, and goats made for a fun diversion for my two-year-old granddaughter.

This home was the perfect spot for our family. Centrally located between catching in a concert in the city, to the family wedding we attended. This place was beautiful, clean and well stocked with what our family needed. Umair, was an amazing host. Had farm fresh organic eggs for our family upon arrival. I would definitely recommend booking for families.

Our group of new friends stayed here for our relaxing Bachelorette weekend and had an amazing time - the home is absolutely lovely, well stocked with care, and nestled beautifully in a peaceful nature scene that’s just minutes from shops, restaurants, and city life. We all agreed the the home is more amazing in person - the pictures simply don’t do it justice! The home quickly became our home base for a few nearby day trip adventures and the living room and fireplace became a favorite hang out spot for us to enjoy board games together. Walking around the property, playing in the backyard, saying hello to the animals, and enjoying the peacefulness of the grounds became highlights for our group too! Our host was consistently prompt to respond and very kind and accommodating as well. We’d highly recommend and we certainly hope to come back again! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!!

This is a beautiful home on a gorgeous property with lots of room to roam. Umair is a gracious and friendly host and makes himself very available. The property is amazing. It was perfect for the mixed group we had; my wife and I plus our kids and her parents. Plenty of space inside to comfortably accommodate all of us and the property outside was big enough to hike around and explore. Umair was a great host and very responsive to any inquiries. I originally selected this property as it was close to the Overland Park Arboretum where we were holding my Moms life celebration event. I had my family and my sisters family coming from out of town. I arrived to a little piece of paradise - the house is full of beautiful light and charm at every turn. The property is wonderful to wander with both the maintained backyard and wild pasture land near the river. We enjoyed several of the games that were provided. The kitchen had ample space and amenities for us all to gather and cook. The extra touch of snacks left for us was super nice. Umair was amazing with his quick response and hospitality when we had questions about how the heat worked. Highly recommend this property for a get away retreat - you will love it - we did!

We were in town to visit family. We will definitely keep this property in mind for future visits. The kids will say the only thing it was missing was a basketball hoop, but that is literally the only complaint that was said and they are obsessed and needed the slight detox! 🤣 The view was so peaceful and pretty. It was SO nice to be far enough out of the city that we could just enjoy ourselves, but close enough to do everything we wanted.

The house was beautiful and in a very peaceful and picturesque location. Although we were on a trip to take in various activities in the KC area, the place was so wonderful we really would have liked to have had more time to simply relax and spend more time at the house. The property manager Umair was so accommodating and a wonderful host. We hope to return soon to this incredible house. Thanks for a truly great stay.

We came in town for a family funeral. This home was perfect for our stay. It was very roomy, clean and comfortable. Umair was very friendly and accommodated all our needs, even providing a beautiful crib for our 9 month old granddaughter as well as a high chair. We will definitely stay here again and I would highly recommend this home.
